big ol' 21. i remember on my 21st, i got drunk in chicago at a hooters. it turned midnight and we had to catch the 12:30 train back to base, so we ran about 15 blocks through the city drunk, which is not a kool thing to do. we finally got to the station, and i puked all over the train. i wasnt inside of the train, i mean puked ON the train...good times, good times...

Thanks, everybody. Pretty fitting I guess that my 21st comes on a day when I have day and night classes and can't really celebrate. Oh well, I'm not really a drinker anyway. Just means I can actually legally buy wine to use in my cooking this weekend. ^_^

LOL no, i was leaning on the train with my hand on it, and puked all over the side of it. people were stairing, it was awesome

we drank like 4 pitchers of budlight. me and 2 other navy buddies

And Budlight no wonder you got messed up man what were you thinking drinking light beer, jk.:D My friend drinks it too, about 2 sometimes even 3 24's in a night the crazy alcoholic, and we all bug him about it. I usually stick to Canadian beer myself or go straight to the hard stuff, but there is also the really strong but great beers from Europe that I like, like the trappist beers from Belgium, but that stuff gets expensive.:)
Ah but what is life but the crazy shit you do when your young and drunk...lol:D Anyway have a Happy Birthday mareek, and being 21 before you can buy wine, man that must be a pain in the ass.:(

Ahh yes, I had known at one point that Jeremy had the same birthday as me but had forgot it.

And, I do indeed live in the USA so alcohol is legal and in 4 more years I can rent a car. Gives me something to look forward too, huh. October 19 2010 I am so gonna head out somewhere and rent a ferrari, assuming I don't already own one.

And to RMJ: you can't legally purchase alcohol in the USA until you are 21. It hasn't been illegal for about 80+ years now (and it was only illegal for ~2 years or so then).

Heh...you missed his joke. Technically, Nanaki said alcohol isn't legal...instead of it being illegal to buy it before age 21.

Prohibition never happened in Canada so there were lots of Rum running and bootlegging operations based in the Maritimes during the US prohibition. And because there were lots of thirsty Americans in need of a good drink bootlegging booze paid a lot better than fishing. Now though its just a footnote in the history books, and something mentioned to American tourists when they visit some of the areas where it took place.:)
