Alizée will guest at the FESTIVAL MUZIK'ELLES 2010 in Meaux (25.09.2010 and 26.09.2010) in the concert of BB Brunes, a french rockband.

The show is in the COMPLEXE GEORGES TAUZIET, one ticket costs 22 euros (1 ticket for 1 day) for all 6 shows (16:00 to 22:30).

Well, pretty much her latest album that came out in March 2010 was a failure in France(sales-wise), and so BB Brunes is giving her a second chance I guess you can say:)

I don't think her being a guest star with BB Brunes will in any way help her with her own Ueds nightmare in France. The French public have spoken and they don't like her last two albums. We can argue about the piss poor promotion of Psych and Ued's, but probably the early polling or reaction of the French public didn't give anyone inspiration to do a mass marketing campaign. In other words Alizee's lack of success in France cannot be blamed to a great degree on lack of marketing. It is just my opinion based on what I think is common sense reasoning.
Probably what got Alizee invited to this event by this band is probably as simple as she made an acquaintance with one or all of the band members or they are friends of Jeremy or through mutual acquaintances. Just more common sense reasoning on my part. If she was given a chance to perform one or more songs from Ueds an argument could be made that the exposure could maybe reach an audience that might promote it. Unfortunately that is clearly not the case. It saddens me to reach these conclusions and I pray that I am wrong on all counts.

I also get the sense that Alizee isn't tensed at all and I have made statements in posts as to whether her latest Ueds wasn't more of a fun project than an attempt at stardom. Not that she would have been opposed if it took off like a rocket. I only get tense when it comes to Alizee when I think that she is going to be forced to leave the music business because she can't afford financially to continue to make albums that don't sell.

You can barely make out Alizee but you can definitely hear the song being played but not her voice so much. Hopefully better quality videos will come out soon....

Thanks! It looks like that sound clip was just a rehersal, and the actual performance was very well recieved, even though it was late at night (around 11pm?) rainy and cold.

Like I heard on AF, it seems like the guy she is singing with is quite a jerk cause his style is about himself. He seems to never look at her. And based on what people that went to the performance said, is that it's just his style and nature to be self-absorbed, he went off stage to light a ciggarette 4 times. And he went off stage one of those times right before he was suppose to sing with one of his guests...how rude. Alizee seems to be happy but man...I can understand her just walking off the stage when performing with this guy hahaha.

For sure! But at the same time.. you don't want to be overshadowed by them, and become just an opening act.

Agreed that this is good. As for Mr. Self-Absorbed there, my guess is he's used to soloing and doesn't really know how to put on a duet performance. Alizée is good at it with the eye contact and so on. He sucks. Decent voice, though, as best I could tell given the quality of the sound. Fun song, too.

I think it would have been better if it was just Alizée, whatever her quality of singing. It's meant for a woman and they didn't sound good together. There was no harmony. Either one by himself would have sounded better maybe (not sure about him).

And yikes, who was the woman singing Les Succettes? I didn't quite catch that name. That was a little bizarre. I'm not so impressed by what I've seen. I need to go look for some Christophe Willem videos. I know he's a great singer.

Of course, this is the kind of thing that makes them not want people to post there own video. The pros will make it look and sound so much better and of course, being there usually makes it considerably better too, which is what they want, for people to be there.

As for the coats, did you see the guy's breath in that one photo. It was night time in Meaux in late September. It was cold. Not condusive to singing well I think.
