These little cuties are 38 cents at PetCo. They're selling lives for less than a damn candy bar :p

lawl nobody's gonna vote on this BUT ANYWAYS, name explanations (he's a guy because I say so) :

Hurley = my favorite lost character

Doodle = the name of my beloved betta fish I had when I was five who tragically passed at the ripe old fish-age of two years.

Blubber = the name of the goldfish from Amelie :D

AJ = our girl's initials! Yes, it doesn't do her any justice to name a FISH after her but she's mentioned that she likes (or at least had some) goldfish and.. well, JEAM. So :p

Cracker = inside joke

Another one to consider is JAM (an abbreviation of J'en Ai Marre :D). Even though you'd probably have to explain to everyone why you call your fish the name of a jelly product... :rolleyes:.

As for the ones you mentioned, any of them are fine. I like 'em all. I like Doodle, but if you go with that, then wouldn't it be Doodle Jr. or Doodle II? Just sayin' :rolleyes: lol.

I suddenly gained a lot of weight in the first two months of last summer for some reason (worked it off, thank god) and my friends were like "LAWL WHAT IF YOU'RE PREGNANT" and we planned out my life as a mother for the next week or so, and somehow the imaginary baby's name became "Cracker" :rolleyes:

Not much of an inside joke but we still mention the Cracker that never was every once in a while and giggle about it, so yeah :D

The only reason I wouldn't do that is because I have a close friend named Lilly and she thinks fish are hideous :p But I also have an ex named AJ and everyone might think I named it after him.. but then when I stop to explain it'd be a great way to spread Lili awareness. idk :p

I usually name my pets after something that may have something to do with them except one of my own fish, Swift the Zebra Danio or I just name 'em after someone memorable. I'm not saying you should do what I do but the name should make sense. So if anything, you should name it Blubber cuz not only is it a name for either gender, but it also makes sense, and it's just awesome. But that's just me.
