Dotty Old Man has made a great screensaver for all of us :)

Download it here: Alizee_Screensaver_by_DOM.zip (http://moi-alizee.us/share/Alizee_Screensaver_by_DOM.zip)

Place the .scr file in your C:\windows\system32 folder. If you would like to mute the audio (or change other settings) you can do so under 'settings' when selecting the screensaver under display properties.

1. copy the .scr file to C:\windows\system32

2. then right click on your desktop, and choose 'properties'

3. select the screensaver tab, and select AlizeeSS from the drop down list.

if you want to mute the audio or change anything, click 'settings' beside the preview button and make your changes there.

click apply.

I am using Windows XP, and did everything as mentioned, but it is not showing up in the folder for screen savers.
Anyone have any suggestions?
It a magnificant screen saver but I cannot get it to operate as it should.

No need to extract the .scr in Windows\System32. Extract it in any folder you want then right click on it and click "Install". You can also right click it and click "Configure" if you want. That way you can completely avoid the standard interface... ;)

Depending on your OS, it might actually be C:\WINNT\system32 that you need. Some versions of Windows use C:\windows, and some use C:\WINNT. I'm one of the WINNT types, myself.

If you're not using Windows, it most likely won't work.

Lovely work DOM, I enjoy it greatly. First screensaver I've set active on a computer I own in more than 8 years.

Another, and prolly easier way is to just let your computer put it into the correct file...
When opened up with WinZip, just right click it, and select install (3rd one down i think?)... your comp will auto put it in the correct folders after u agree to do it, and there you go :D

Yes, I just discovered this thread. Recently had been thinking I need to look for a good Alizée screen saver. It would be nice if I could adjust the volume. I want to leave it running quietly to subliminally affect everyone around my computer. I spose I can turn down the volume and remove head phones whenever I'm going away for a while.
Also, can we get one with like 400 pics? :-P

400pics? u can, as the screensaver, ask the computer to scroll through all the pictures in 1 directory. put 400 pics in 1 directory, point the screensaver to it, and then you get 400 pics as your screen saver :)

Ummm, if you go to Display Properties (I believe you're on Windows), and then Screen Saver tab. Select the AlizeeSS screensaver and click the Settings button. On the bottom of the new window is the "Mute Audio" option. Just check it. ;)
