trouble finding record label

read on forums someone who had a friend that had inside information saying that the third album was suppose to be released september this year but got delayed since alizée had problems finding a record label and to promote her new album :/

i hope this is false statements...

yeah .. there has been a lot of rumors going around for a while. i dont think you can put any faith in these rumors without any type of real confirmation. All we really know is that Alizée wrote a letter saying she promised to be back soon, and Jeremy has confirmed that Alizée is working on a new album.

The time frame could really be anything. Jérémy spent two years on his last album, while Helena Noguerra (another French singer) recorded and released one in ten days. And they were both good. :)

I am, and possibly falsely, assuming that the album is finished by now.
I think the problem might be negociating with a new label for release and distribution of the actual product.
This process is sometimes not as easy as it seems. There are costs for production, promotion in media, etc. that must be covered. It is not inexpensive to do this either without the proper backing that sometimes comes with people such as Mylene Farmer and her connections from her past record and media connections.

I want Alizée to release another album a soon as she can, so I am hoping that what I have just speculated on is just that...speculation.

generaly it takes about a month a song to make them extremely good at least for the music I listen to. but a lot of times it could take much longer and like it was stated before it could happen in like a few days just depends on how focus and in sync with one another

for me i really just want her to take the time she needs, shouldnt stress just to release an album for the sake of it.
personally if she released after january id be very happy and earlier even better! since january onwards is the darkest months of my life here, its cold and dark and snowy :(
