Not sure what others think about Jenifer Bartoli but I came across this video on YouTube that kind of through me a little. I know that the idea of what Alizée saw in Jérémy has come up a few times in the forums and it strikes me more and more when I see him. He just seems too goofy in interviews and comes across as very shy. I always assumed that she would have gone for someone with a bit more testosterone. ;)

I believe Jérémy is better suited behind the scenes writing the songs. He just never seems to be comfortable or brings a very good stage presence.

God I just can't stand his voice when he sings.:eek:
I didn't even watch the whole video because of his voice.

He sounds a bit better singing his own music. Ma Revolucion was written for Jenifer's voice, which is very powerful, she's a belter. Jérémy's not at his best trying to sing like that.

I agree, though, that his niche is as a composer rather than a performer, and from some things Alizée has said lately, he agrees, too.

His voice is certainly unique, but I wouldn't call it that terrible. It really depends on the music and song. The one above, he is really out performed by Jenifer and I don't think the song suits his voice.

His song, Variétés Françaises, is one I particularly like.
