No, no, the article says that the team who produce that show wants to invite international artists to perform in the program in order to promote it, and satisfy the public demand. It says that they are negotiating with Alizée representants and the deal is inminent and could be confirmed in a few days.

So i think Alizée will perform a song in the program, maybe she will meet the participants of the show, give them advices, and that kind of things.
She would be the artist invited for that particular show, she would not take part in the whole thing.

Thanks, Alex. Pardon my ignorance, but don't they follow the regular Eastern/Pacific time schedule? I mean, usually if something is showing at 9 pm Eastern, that means it'll be shown at 6 pm Pacific because of the 3-hour time difference?
PS: I finally found their website and I guess they're going to show it here at 7 pm Pacific. Darn it! I knew I should have renewed my passport. I hope Alizee performs this Sunday, and next Sunday and Sunday after that and........;)

I wouldn't know to tell you if the airing time is off Jake, but just double check your area's TV guide to see the actual airing time. The times above was from their website, so I don't know if their correct or off. :)

Unfortunately I don't have the proper equipment to record it, and even if I did, it wouldn't be the best quality, because Azteca America here in the US transmits its shows from Mexico in 480i, but if a fan from Mexico is able to record it, the signal over in Mexico is aired in 1080i HD. Hopefully they are able to record it in HD :2_thumbs:

It be interesting to see the two posing together. The complete natural beauty of Alizee vs .............. I was going to say manufactured, but Pamela's looks probably weren't bad to begin with so let's just say augmented beauty of Pamela.

A picture like that could make it's way into a U.S. magazine where English speaking people in this country might get some exposure to her. Is there a way we can urge members of the U.S. media to get a picture of these 2 together?

EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I believe this is a golden opportunity for some Alizee promotion here. Maybe our Mexican members could e-mail the station urging them so that if these two are not scheduled to meet on the show, they somehow get some photos of these two together. Just because they're on the same show doesn't necessarily mean they will see each other. Look what happened in France when they filmed the tv show that was a tribute to Madonna where Alizee sang Ella Ella. Alizee and Madonna were both there, but apparently at different times and they never met.

Others who have seen this show are probably more likely to know how the show is run and what are the odds that they may meet.

The show is recoded and aired live in Mexico, however when the show airs in the US it's replayed an hour later. Once again if you have AZTECA AMERICA in your city here in the US you will be able to see the show in 480i.

Just to clear up again, she will be on NEXT Sunday's show, October 9, not tonight's show, confirmed already by La Academia Producer Magda Rodriguez.

La Academia is making these types of invitations to artists to gain rating views due to the success of The Voice Mexico broadcasted by Televisa.

Just read that next week's show will be more interesting. The situation is that TV Azteca's main competition, TELEVISA, has announced that they will be airing a Justin Bieber appearance on their show The Voice Mexico for next week Sunday. It will be interesting to see who gets better ratings.

It says that after alot of hard work they were able to finally make an agreement for Alizee to be in La Academia. Producer, Magda Rodriguez, also said that Alizee will arrive to La Casa de La Academia (Studio where the students of La Academia live while on the competition) on Friday to pass some time with the students and teachers. It is also mentioned that on Sunday they will make an opening where all the girls from La Academia will be dressed like Alizee and doing cool stuff.

Producer M. Rodriguez recognized her fanatism towards Alizee saying she has been a fan of her music all her life, and she thinks it is important to have artists of this magnitud where the students are able to share time with her in a stage.

Just a word of advice though, dont be disappointed if Lili doesnt stay at the house for long.

Yes, Alizee is very sexy in this interview!... she is back to her hair style from her J'ai Pas Vingt Ans days!... only it's a bit flatter like the way she wore it in her "La Isla Bonita" video, except her hair is down and not in a pony tail ... she has a hair clip to keep her bangs to the side... her voice is deep like in her song "Moi... Lolita" ... I bet if she sung it, it would sound just like the original, not like the way she sung it when she did the performance a few years ago and her voice was high.... she is amazing!!!..
