So I hadn't heard this song til about a month ago when I compiled all the mp3s.

And my ears are ringing from how high Alizee sang in it! Man can she hit those high ones!

Anyone else surprised at just how well she sang in this? She did very well for not being under Mylene's wing at the time :)

Not the best song for her, but it was pretty good considering she never really sang before. Practice makes perfect, real vocal perfectionists have vocal coaches and practice daily to keep their voice strong.

Indeed! When I first heard this song a year ago, I listened to the first couple seconds then shut it off because I was afraid it was going to be herrendous. But when I listened all the way through for the first time a month ago it was actually really good. I love exploring older performances/songs :wub:

And yeah, thankfully after this she did get coaching...from the best!
