One of my favorite moments :-) I saw a nice wallpaper with some shots from it the other day, but it was a bit busy for my tastes. I like simple backgrounds, without lots of clutter.

If I can find an UHQ photo with a reasonable zoom, I'll probably use it.

maybe Alizee really plays the guitar or it was just a joke in that concert? becouse i think,that it was joke, but who knows...and maybe she plays with other instrument?

It was only a joke since she clearly never played the guitar: she just played like crazy with the micro selection switch of the Les Paul (on & off) and didn't have a clue about even playing a chord (sp?)...

If you are talking about Snatcher's video, have you noticed that you only hear the audience singing while Alizée's "playing" drums?

Well... That's the problem in the first place !

He gets to play in Alizée's concert, he gets to be near her, he gets to practice with her, he gets to speak with her, and then he even gets kiss from her !

And I got nothing of those ! So, I think I should have deserved at least the kiss ! Just in the sake of fairness !:wub:

He's also the "directeur musical" so he surely has to command technical things to her too :)

I love that she stole his drumsticks afterwards, haha. But yeah, Loie gets the kiss - he's the musical director, and as we know, she really wants to be a drummer. He's the one that taught her the stuff to do that got her into the JPVA video as well.

We can all hope to be so lucky :-)

(Haha, just noticed Jean-Marie rocking out behind them too - that's funny)

I notice a difference in her live songs, but not a bad one. I've heard many artists really fuck it up live :o
...But not Lili :p

Btw, the drums clip isn't in the En Concert DVD is it?

No, it sure isn't :-( It's from a different performance.

Actually, I'm quite sure both "L'email a des ailes" and "J'ai pas vingt ans" are from different performances than the rest of the DVD, they both appear spliced in, and don't show up on the En Concert CD. Not that I'm complaining, I love them! That said, Alizée playing the drums is from a different different performance :-/

If you want a fun game, watch Gil's chin. Goatee on, goatee off, goatee on, goatee off :-P He shaved some time between the concerts they filmed to make the En Concert DVD :-)

Well, you can't really say this or that is from a different performance on the CD or DVD because the whole thing is spliced together and mixed from different shows. You can have 4 or 5 different "performances" in one song. The drum video is taken from the last show of the tour at Le Zenith, and a lot of the DVD footage is from there. But yeah, obviously not the drumming part. Dunno why, it would have been great in there! She did it at other shows too.

She reminded me of Tom Morello in that clip (guitarist of Audioslave and Rage Against The Machine). In the song "Bulls on Parade" he uses a similar looking technique, in which he uses the toggle switch to pick instead of his hand. Not the same thing but when I saw I laughed a little at the similarity. Plus, being a guitarist it was nice to see Lili attempting to p;ay what is such an amazing instrument.

i really like the LIVE better too, the lip sync performances are kool, but nothing beats when shes really singing the songs :wub:
