I think that she would make a very good JBG, even if she can't act, the language barrier would make for a fun movie :D

No, she wasn't ever slated to be in one of the movies. She has expressed interest in it, however, saying she would love to be a Bond-girl (at least, she said so a while back).

It wouldn't be the first time they've cast a Bond-girl with limited English. I think they should go for it! Not that I'm biased or anything :-D

The JBG in Casino Royale is French (Eva Green) and there's been three French JBGs before her already. Listed here: http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1641942,001100030008.htm

I strongly doubt that Sophie Marceau or Carole Bouquet spoke a perfect English with no accent! :D

I saw that :-) Hurray for French Bond-girls! Eva Green actually speaks English quite well, with a British accent, from what I've seen of her. Most French natives I've met or seen who speak English speak it with a mild British accent, being as the UK is the local English speaking nation. Sophie Marceau also speaks English pretty well, though her accent is more ambiguous (I'm guessing she learned from an American). I don't remember Carole Bouquet specifically.
