Up until now we have been speculating about a possible relationship between Matt Pokora and and Alizée. However, since this connection does exist at some level, at least for the moment, we might as well talk about who he is.

I, for one, like what I'm seeing. I can see where she would be attracted to someone like him. Based on the few videos have seen from LE, I like him. He seems friendly and seems to be getting along well with the other performers in the LE group. To be frank, I think someone like him is what Alizée was looking for, but never completely found, in Jeremy.

Who knows where things will go - I'm sure neither of them do. How can anybody comment on a relationship that is just forming. It could be over tomorrow, or it could last for years.

I hope he is mature enough to see what an opportunity he has. He is surrounded by a lot of women, but Alizée is special. If their relationship continues to click, and if he is mature enough that he can bypass a lot of women for one special one, then it may work. Time will tell.

She deserves to be happy, and I do not believe she has been (at least with regards to some of the mechanics of her relationship with Jeremy) for the last few years.

I, for one, wish her all the best. :)

So, what do people know about this guy (my only request is that we keep the discussion positive)?

IF these rumors are true, then I'm happy for her. As you said she deserves happiness :)

Let's just hope there is nothing about Matt that would make people want to say negative things ;)

Let's just hope there is nothing about Matt that would make people want to say negative things ;)The only negative I can see is that I detest tattoo's, but I love Alizee and of course she has them, so If that is the only negative about Matt I can surely live with it. Because we don't really know the nature of their relationship (news flash), this thread may prove to be a time killer. On the other hand it could prove to be relevant and an interesting and fun thread to view in the future. I'm game! for what that's worth as everyone is waiting with baited breath lol.:)

He has a good look out of his eyes, which Alizee's glistening eyes are a big part of her appeal. The eyes are the window to your soul, so to speak. Just on the surface, he seems like a perfect match for Alizee and I could see them doing beautiful duets. There voices would complement one another. Damn I was trying hard not to like him lol.

THanks for the link Lefty. The part I found the most interesting:

/start speculaton

was that Matt's parents got divorced when he was young, and he remained super close to his mother the whole time.

So if the rumors of Lili's divorce are true, maybe they clicked so quickly cause Matt understands what Lili is going through, after helping his mom through it.

/end speculation :p

Also, here's what Wiki has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M._Pokoramatt has had and is having a notable music career. He also seems to be a person of character and substance and his music career path has a lot in common with Alizee. It astounds me how much they must have in common. Again if the rumors of Alizee and Jeremy are true, as one of Alizee's big brothers I approve of Matt for what it's worth. It is absolutely premature, but they would make a very handsome couple. Even more corny in writing than originally having the thought lol. Thanks lefty for the wiki posting.:)

Brian and I have so got Lili's back, we've looked into this Matt guy thoroughly (and by that I mean skimmed his wikipedia page).

I really like the fact that he's involved in so many charities and children's organizations.

That's exactly what I thought when I read about that. I imagine he must be much more sensitive to women's emotions and such as a result. THAT is attractive in a man.

I also think Alizee would definitely be cautious about who she brings into her romantic life and especially who she exposes Annily to. I trust that he is a good guy if she does. :)

When this MP thing came out I said on AF that I will never agree with that guy, but I also said that maybe I shouldn't say things like it. Now I think there's nothing bad about Matt, just that for me he looks little different man than I've used to see. You know here's such boorish atmoshphere and for example those big tattoos was making me really strange feels about him :D

Now I think it's all okay since Alizée is happy with him, but it would be nice to know how things actually are :)

I know little about this guy. What I heard so far isn't that bad. There's some speculation about how much he weighs in his loafers, but there's nothing concrete along those lines yet. The one thing that worries me about him if Alizee were to get into a relationship with him is his tatoos. I'm afraid if they get together, Alizee might be inclined to get more tatoos and that's something I don't want to see. At least not in an obvious place, like Paris (jk).

You guys all sound like you are going through the acceptance stage in the 5 stages of Grief... Which happens to be the last stage, might I add! Does that mean we are almost done talking about MP and we can move on?

Denial > Anger > Bargaining > Depression > Acceptance

Denial > Anger > Bargaining > Depression > AcceptanceActually Elizabeth Kubler Ross developed those stages from her research on terminally ill patients. They are the stages a terminally ill person experiences, not those left behind. They have inaccurately been applied to every grieving experience under the sun for decades. They are not appicable in this instance either. I am being serious and I'm not trying to be a smart ass or disrespect you. I am well versed in Grief Recovery.:)

I believe she referred to them as the five stages of loss. They are generally applicable in any situation where a significant loss occurs. Even though they are listed as five steps, people can move forward through the list and then jump back a ways than move forward again. Depending upon the type of an severity of loss one are more of the steps may be less applicable to the particular situation (and therefore may not really be noticed). However, I have found them to be generally a good guideline for communicating with people about the experience of loss. :)

They may be resisting the painful thoughts and feelings associated with the loss. That whatever a griever is feeling is normal and natural. That it is important for grievers to be able to tell the truth about how they feel. Grief is an emotional experience, not an intellectual one. In other words a griever doesn't need to know why they feel how they feel, but what they feel. Knowing why doesn't change the feelings associated with the loss, it is just part of the story line. Any way I have probably said enough, but you are right that the Alizee concerns are a grieving experience that each fan has unique feelings about it depending on their perception of the events and their unique connections with Alizee whether real or percieved. I'll shut up now.:)

Looking for any news to confirm the rumor with no luck. But I did run across this article which makes me feel this Pokora kid is a nice guy.

The ball of bastards / M. Pokora: "If we go on stage in my underwear, I do"
Sunday, March 11, 2012

Male Artist of the Year at the NRJ Music Awards last, double platinum with his latest album and a few days before the release of his fifth album, In Pursuit of Happiness (March 19), M. Pokora has joined the cast of bastards at the last minute. With a big smile.

You have reached the Enfoirés two days before the first concert in Lyon. This is a last minute arrival ...
"There must be a casualty, Djibril Cisse Enfoirés, as in the France team (laughs)! They called me on Monday at 16 am, for the first concert on Wednesday evening. I was quietly doing errands and I was told, "Go quickly pack your bag, you go to Enfoirés." "

What was your reaction?
"I was super happy. It is a privilege to incorporate this family and can make a small stone to the edifice. When you know why we do it, it makes sense. The emotion that I live by helping this association, it is a joy. Already during my tours, I was helping Eating since I gave them a quota of seats at each concert. "

How do you feel about this scene?
"It's going something I've never lived. The public eye has nothing to do with what we can live at a concert ordinary. This is kind, and very special family. What we saw was very nice, very sweet. "

How other artists have they received?
"I am fortunate to know many artists of the troupe since it's been eight years since I do this job. I get along very well with Christophe (Mae), for example, we saw all the TV sets at the time of the "Sun King". Amel (Bent), Jenifer and Alizée also. My integration has been fast enough.
Of the forty persons present, there are a dozen that I had not encountered. "

During the show, you wear many costumes, including that of a rabbit. It does not bother you?
"Frankly, even if we go in my underwear on stage for a good cause, I do. Here, we are not there to take seriously. Putting aside our egos and our careers. We're all going in the same direction. "

Is it difficult to prepare a show for you?
"There are a lot of work! The first day was repeated from 14 pm to 2 am in the morning. We do not see the day, time stops here. I have many text messages of my relatives who resent me just because I no longer new. But it is in our cocoon, we work, we thoroughly. It's like being in summer camp, we did not feel like writing the letter to parents. This is a "hearts" and I enjoy. I am proud to participate in everything. "

After your two awards at the NRJ Music Awards, you live a very nice start to the year ...
(Big smile) "I like a lot already in 2012! Over the past year, I'm in a super-positive spiral. I work to ensure that it does not stop. I had ups and downs. I take this opportunity and I hope it will continue as long as possible. "
