So, I looooove Fashion and I'm always noticing stuff that Alizee is wearing, so I thought I'd post the pictures along with the link to buy the item. I've actually bought a few things I've seen her wear, but not many. I know you guys out there aren't really interested, but women that stop by might be. I think there is a thread like this on Alizee Forum buuuut, I don't post there. ;) If I find more items that go with the pictures, I will edit the original post and put it with the appropriate photo.

Haha I know what you mean, man. It is expensive to be a woman. Ever notice the difference in prices between a woman's haircut and a man's haircut? Mine usually costs within the range of $10-$15. A woman? Whew...

Had a girl friend who once told me how much she spent on makeup and it was damn near half of what my paycheck was at the time. :confused:

Even tanning salons and stuff cost a pretty penny in the long run even though it might not seem that way initially. Hm...I just thought of something. I won't go into the science of it, but basically, I have access to stuff that can make it so that you would be completely tan just from being in the sun for FIVE minutes. And come to think of it, if women ever knew the things I have that can drastically improve their appearance...oh boy. :13:

Question for you ladies: How in the world do you recognize which outfit is from which designer and so forth without looking the tags? I'm clueless here.

Well, it's fairly easy with shoes and bags because designers make them distinctive. All Yves Saint Laurent pumps have the same shape to them, so it was pretty easy to identify those. As for clothing, it's pretty much the same, but I have noticed that Alizee loves to mix designer fashion with more bargain finds. I'm not 100% sure if she got that bracelet off of Ebay, but it is literally the ONLY one I could find that looked like that, so I'm pretty sure she did. Those shorts look like they're something from Urban Outfitters, but I couldn't find the source. I will say, that it is much easier to identify something if you at least know the basic style and fabric. For instance, I googled "black leather cuff with silver pyramid studs." Whereas, if you plugged in "black bracelet with silver studs" it would come up with something totally different.

Do you think designers give outfits to Alizee for free just for the publicity and free advertising they get? I know American celebrities expect it. BTW, I'm never terribly impressed with Alizee's clothing. All of them look the same to me, and I will never understand why Alizee, of all people, would need to wear a $300 casual dress pant. She could wear cut-off jeans and sandals, and I'd still find her attractive. But I'm a guy, so I don't understand why women dress for themselves and other women. ;)

I adore her "braided headband" look. It's simple to dress up any plain hairstyle, whether it's down, in a bun, or in a ponytail, and takes little extra effort. It looks cutest with bangs, in my opinion.

It's pretty simple. Basically what I did was take a small section of hair from the area behind my ear. Then I put the rest of my hair back to get it out of the way. I braided the free section from just below the top to the bottom, then I just basically wrapped it around across the top of my head and back again to meet the start of the braid. Then I secured it into place using five or six bobby pins in several places.

My hair is long and super thick/curly so it was kinda hard to tame it for this style, I imagine if you have straight and/or thin hair it should be pretty easy. As for length, Alizee's hair isn't that long and she pulls it off. :)

There's quite a few American female celebrities that go out in public without bras - Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, etc. It's really only for support and they don't need it. I was looking on her instagram and I found this picture of a charm bracelet she wears. It's by Catherine Michiels and each charm is supposed to signify something. I'm not really sure how much the bracelet cost because every retailer has different prices, but I'm going to guess it was at least 350 euros.

I just found this site here http://www.mademoisellealizee.com/ and it has a lot of stuff she wore back in the day. Seems she wore a lot of Jean Paul Gaultier during the beginning of her career. I believe Mylene is a friend of his. He has designed a lot of her outfits and she just walked in one of his fashion shows last year. I wonder if they gave Alizee clothes for free.

It's not that hard, there are only a few stores she seems to shop at. Sandro, The Kooples, Isabel Marant, and Zara seem to be her favorite for clothing.

A lot of designer clothes and bags are made by hand with the finest fabrics and materials available. Some designers do a 'ready to wear' collection where it's a unique design, but they'll mass produce a few thousand of them and you can buy it off the rack. But, they also have clothing that is made to order only and has to be tailored for your body.

Balmain jacket for instance, are hand stitched and often they are embroidered by hand and embellished with beads and sequins. It can take someone 3 months to put on those beads, so it is a premium price, especially if they're using good fabrics.

My boyfriend has a lot of John Varvatos t-shirts which can go for over 150 dollars a piece, but the quality is so so nice. They're cut a certain way to drape over the body and the fabric is so soft. 100% cotton does not mean it is a good quality of cotton.

As some of you know, I have not been able to get on here much lately, due to rules at work.
However, I just looked at this thread and the prices are gagging me! For what Alizée spends on some clothes or shoes, et. al. I could have an amazing live rig to play out on!

Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy that she is well set up with her bank account, but man, oh man does she know how to keep up and in style! Good for her. Rock on Alizée!:bow:

Also, I am amazed at how easily Euphoria and others here can ID these items and so fast! I watch Fashion Police with my wife, because we love Joan Rivers, but I don't think a lot of what is seen on there is as expensive as some of what Alizée wears everyday.

I don't think strapless look good on short torsos like her.. they make her look shorter. I think with straps it helps elongate her body.

She's a tough woman to figure out. She seems to have occasional (I believe) urges to buy costly accessories or clothing, yet though I'm sure she had the ability to buy one, we never see her in an expensive sports car or even a middle of the road car (maybe I'm wrong) and when ever she posts a picture from her place (the bathroom the other day; was it the kitchen with I believe Annily with the egg, on another day?) it all speaks of modest surroundings when I'm sure at some point, she could've had an upscale place of her own. I still feel I'm no closer to figuring her out today than I was almost 8 years ago, when I first found out about her.


Another thing I should've realized right away, back in the summer, she looked like she could've uses some time on the tread mill where with this picture in the sweater (thumb up!) which is much more typical, she's looking more like Twiggy!

You guys keep thinking that she is the same as an American woman. She is French/Corsican and the culture when it comes to flaunting your wealth as in America doesn't apply to Alizée. French are put off by those who flaunt or brag about their financial status. The exception to this rule is Football players are allowed, no one else.

This is why Alizée may spend the money on cloths but not on an expensive car or home. The elites in society can get away with it but the common person who has made it, is encouraged to down play their material wealth around the general public.
