I was thinking how many different versions of Alizée's albums have been released? Then i was thinking which countries.
I have for sure checked out that universal released in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan so i have asked my friends from those places to go out and scout for me :D but did they release in other asian country?
Also asian versions of her albums not only did you get the album when you bought the cd but you recieved other alizee gifts with it :)

And what about europe or middle east and US did they release different versions?

:D :D

It's French but Here's a good place to start. http://www.nidalizee.com/discographie/discographie.htm
And to navigate the rest of the site correctly http://www.nidalizee.com/new_version/accueil.htm
Just click on the album or single and it will list and show pictures of almost all the different versions, including some rare but highly collectible promo items that cost quite a lot, like the Moi Lolita tryptich or the Gourmandises album that came in a bag of candies.

I saw a Gourmandises tape on EBay that I wanted to buy, but it was in Poland and the seller only accepted certain types of payments from people outside the country (paypal wasn't one of them). I've never seen MCE tapes! I'd buy both, just to have.

i have second Alizee album, but it's total fake, you can see a lot of mistakes in words and cover is not original. but i saw original of Gourmandises CD in one bookstore.

Yea, that's one of the worst fakes I have ever seen...

I laughed my ass off few weeks ago when it first time appeared on eBay...

RMJ will know.

I remember him posting a picture of MCE tapes (TAPES!).
Not to mention that I have Egyptian edition of it. (It's distributed by Mirage Records (http://www.mirage-records.com/albums.php?pa=42&na=216&artistID=208))

Well... What comes to those different editions, I can now list some of them from top of my head...

For MCE:
French (11 tracks, jewel case)
French (11 tracks, digipak)
International (15 tracks)
Japanese (12 tracks, with "obi")
Taiwanese (1CD, 16 tracks, slipcase )
Taiwanese de luxe (1CD + VCD + 7 photocards, 16 tracks, slipcase )
Korean (1CD, 16 tracks, slipcase )
Korean de luxe (1CD + VCD + 5 photocards + mini mouse pad, 16 tracks, slipcase )
Chinese (Hong Kong, 16 tracks, slipcase ? )
Singaporean ( 16 tracks ? Possibly same release as Taiwanese )
South American ( 16 tracks, same as Korean/Taiwanese but without slipcase )
Egyptian ( 15 tracks. Same as International but just couple different markings in back cover)
Israelian ( 15 tracks if I remember right. Sticker with Israel writing in cover )
And those are just the CDs. Then there's K7 tapes, like French, International, Korean, Egyptian, Russian (not sure of this legalness...) and so on...

And I'm sure I forgot some...

For Gourmandises:
French (10 tracks, jewel case)
French (10 tracks, digipak)
International (10 tracks)
Japanese (12 tracks, with "obi")
Taiwanese/Korean (10 tracks, with "obi")

And bunch of other countries with basically equal release to French release but with some sort of stickers in them (like in Israel and Greece).

And of course K7 tapes (French at least, but also some other countries might have gotten slightly different release )..

Hmm.. Possible some more.

Wow! "Les courantes electriques" instead of "Mes courants électriques" :D
There are errors in the titles too...

EDIT: Wow 2, my 600th post already

Wow! "Les courantes electriques"
There is not "s" at the end of "electrique". So, one more error. :p

And yea, like I said... I laughed my ass off when I saw it. :D
