Yesterday was her birthday and she shared it with her fans. She met some of them in town. She went to the bother of collating fans' birthday wishes from Twitter and re-tweeting them with a 'Thankyou' message. She gave us regular updates throughout the day about her gifts and then later her party in the evening - where she met more fans. I don't see what else she could have done to involve her fans in her special day and I love her for it.

She's definitely seems to be much more communicative since the split. It could be for a number of reasons. She might need something to fill that void in her life. It could be something she started, that became a habit. Might be that she's getting business savvy and realizes it's a powerful tool for keeping her fans close. Might be she loves her fans and now wants to keep them informed.

I think it's a combination of all these things.
