How to buy "5"

Well this was a useful post up until LXND3R pointed out that "5" is being sold on Amazon.com (as opposed to just Amazon.fr). It is $22 currently and the price may fall before the release. Amazon says it will release on March 5th in the US...but I'm almost positive it will change to March 25th as we get closer to March 5th and they don't get the shipment of CDs. But hey, even better if the album comes out on the 5th in the US...that'd be epic and piss off a ton of Europeans haha.

Disregard if you are holding out for a possible autograph session where you'd get a signed copy from someone going to France to get them. If you are wondering whether or not to order now or later, I highly reccomend ordering it now. You will not be charged until it ships. Plus, Amazon is known for hiking the price as release dates for pre-orders get closer and closer as they get better details. Ordering now will ensure you get the lowest price possible, giving you the benefit of the doubt if they do indeed have to raise the price.

Ouch indeed! Spare a thought though for those hard core ones like me who coughed up £69 last July for the collectors' edition . . . oh well, it is Alizée after all!

You should keep in mind that we are hoping and I emphasize hoping to buy cds for members at the autograph session and have Alizee autograph them. We have no way of knowing yet if that will happen. So do members here want to order one now and then buy another one when the autograph session comes up? If you can only afford, or only want to pay for one, I'd say hold off for a while.

Good thought Scruffy, slipped through my mind cause I was so excited at the fact that one of her albums was DEBUTING in a US store...I'm still baffled at the fact they would be so kind as to us Americans as to make so little money off of it by selling it here for 2/3rds as they would make for it over in FR.

Another thing to consider is if members buy them now and cant afford to buy one at the autograph session if that happens, then it might make it a lot less likely that a private autograph session will happen if we're only asking for let's say 30 cds, instead of 50.

I'm a little bit worried about the way Sony has treated her foreign fans so far with this new album, making me think it's less likely to happen. Hopefully it will take place at VM where we may have some one who remembers us............hopefully favorably!

There is no discount on Amazon, just a shipping discount I believe. If you get Prime though, you can get free two-day shipping on as many as you want.
