What I loved was the low level Russian official that put out the military shot the meteor down. Then it comes out a few hours ago that not one of their early warning Radar units ever saw it.

Hey thats out of line buddy, NORAD was just confused between what was "real world" and what was exercise but they saw the whole thing. Lets get off that topic though.

Their radars did see it, there is just a problem in tracking and figuring out its trajectory. It is currently a huge problem in orbital dynamics due to the still current use of a Gaussian approximation from the 1800s. Funny thing is we were just talking about this today in my Orbital Dynamics class.
