Europe can't see it either. It was set to private, which leads me to believe it was an accident that the video was made available in the first place.

I agree. Looks like someone put it out there too early (like maybe a month too early). Of course, it would have been right on time IF the Album release had been set for February 25th instead of March 25th. :):)

Alizée has a very nice presence in that clip. She can please the camera so well. So far, I really like what I hear from the new album. Here is a pretty close translation of the 5 spoken segments:

“I wanted to present an album that was, let’s say, simple and accessible, so that every generation could listen to it, and each author and each composer have brought their own particularity, and then my voice makes it my album and my baby.”

“In the new album, I wanted a little 60’s influence, but more in the inspiration, notably from a person that I like a lot, France Gall. I then wanted the color to fit the present time, to be modern, so with my producer, Alexandre Azaria, we, I think, found the best compromise. It is hard to produce something timeless, but this is what we tried to achieve.”

“I wanted to make an album that is more orchestrated than the previous ones. Today it is the violin and brass session. We feel lots of stuff when in presence of 12 strings [the instruments]. It always brings a special touch to the songs and notably, when we feel a little nostalgic, the strings are part of it.”

“The evolution in the life of a singer; every album represents a stage in a life. This album resembles me today and maybe talks about me more than the previous album. This one talks about stuff that seem a little gloomy [I think she says “sombre”, but it isn’t easily audible], more profound as far as the lyrics and my life are concerned.”
