HAPPENING NOW!!!

At 9:00PM EST on Wednesday, March 27th, I will be hosting a LIVE group listening & discussion of each song on "5" on AlizéeAmerica's TinyChat (http://tinychat.com/alizeeamerica).

All are welcome whether or not you'll be able to talk or not :)

Here is how it will run:

We'll wait about 10-15mins for everyone to get in the chat room and ready themselves for the epic times that are about to go down. We'll start off with the first song, ACDLA, and cue it to 0:01. Now, the song will not be streamed over the chat, only our discussion: so you will need to be listening to the song on an external device such as a stereo system, CD player, MP3 Player, etc. Everyone will be asked to keep the volume down on the device they are playing the music on so that it doesn't interfere with our voices on TinyChat. Then we'll all click "play" at about the same time and discuss whatever comes up about the current song and specifically what we are hearing at the moment. After the first song finishes, the convo can carry on if necessary, then we'll cue up the second song to 0:01 and repeat the cycle. Should be a great time and all of us are looking forward to it!

Listen to the En Concert Fan Commentary podcast some members did years ago, since that will be the format we'll do for this one also: http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4501

Depending on who says who can be on when for the chat, we may shift the time forward or backward an hour or two. I figure 9PM EST will be good since everyone in the US will be off work and school, also allowing the people on the east coast to get some ZZZZ's.

Any questions, comments, concerns? Fire away :)

Hope to see you there!

8.00pm EST? That's about 6.30am in this part of the world.
Is daylight saving time being observed? That would make it 5.30am here. Best start to the day :aha:

I am 1 hour behind EST (so I am in CST), which means it is 11:59PM EST now and 9:29AM in New Delhi, India.

So if I'm not mistaken, it will take place at 7:30AM your time...I hope I'm right :fear:

Well dang, I don't get out of class Wednesday until 7:45 EST and then I have to stay after class with my group to meet with the prof, so I'll get here as soon as I can.

Would anyone mind if we push it back an hour to 9:00PM EST? That way TexasGuy can make it?

Edit:

I'm there dude

Awesome Stephen! Glad you can make it :D

It would be Thursday morning here at the time. People will be busy getting ready for work and college. The sad part is that Wednesday is a public holiday here for Holi and Friday for Good Friday. But Thursday is a working day :(

But I hope you guys will enjoy. I'll be looking forward to listen to a recording if there is going to be one :)

Alright, is this still happening?

I've got to be in the hospital classroom at 8 tomorrow, if we could start before 2:30 that'd be great :)
