It definitely is one of her most interesting tv appearance this year as she goes in the details of the meaning of her songs (10 ans, mon chevalier) and she looks back at the Alizée of the 2000's and talks about the 2004 concert , that's just great stuff!

So far only a poor quality version is available on youtube.


I'll make subtitles for you guys when I'll get my hands on the HD recording. If someone knows how to extract the video from the website above, i'll be grateful :)

Ruben , Digimaze, Matevz and I have been working hard over the past 3 hours to get our hands on a decent quality version of the video. After lots of efforts, and a long .php file written by Ruben to crack Pluzz.fr protected codes, we've managed to extract the interview. :)

Nice interview.. I especially like the fact that she pointed out Moi... Lolita was actually a No.2 hit in France and that L'Alizé was actually the No.1. :)

Anyway on another note.. as depressing as it was to hear it from Alizée herself, I think we can all relate to her as far as failed relationships go.

Well there's always hope and I can relate to her especially.. I mean I also have a child from a failed relationship but thankfully I still get to spend time with him ( I know many don't get that luxury ) and I'm on good terms with his mother too.

As much as I wanted to watch this interview, I 've been so busy with the cds, I haven't been able to take but a quick look at it, until now and now that I've had time to take a somewhat more in depth look at it, I think it's such a gut wrenching interview for me and I hope we can talk about it much more in the near future.

I've only been following along for a year, but I think I've seen most of what there has been out there to be seen from her career. It seems like we've learned more about her personality in the last 2 months than we've even known before. I think before, it was the impressions of her that we had developed based the little actual information given, and interpretations of what we saw.

We've seen her grow from a teenager into an adult and mother, but has anyone really noticed a shift in her personality? Do we really know what her personality is?

Alizée is both a really secretive and very "open" person , so I think there will always be part of darkness we'll never be able to probe (i.e. the reason why she felt so depressed and cried so much between 2006 and 2010) but we sort of have an idea of how she interacts with people , how generous, cheerful and respectful she is while being with her fans
