I thought that with 6 albums to choose from now, and new members in the last few years, it would be a great time for a poll!

It's an anonymous poll, but feel free to discuss your choice of your favorite Alizée album if you wish.

I'm having a difficult time choosing, but I'll go with '5' because it's special to me, and it was the first one to be released after I discovered her. Though in reality I love them all.

For me it's by far Mes Courants Electriques. There were just so many good songs on that;
J'en ai marre
ACC
Toc de Mac
Amelie m'a dit
Tempete
JPVA
Hey Amigo
L'e-mail a des ailes
Youpidou
Even Coeur deja pris I thought was one of her most beautiful songs.

In all my years, I can't remember an album that had so many songs I liked on it, except for maybe a best of album. It was really incredible for me.

For me, it's a battle between MCE and 5. However, these two albums are so different from each other that I feel like it's almost unfair to try and compare them, because they're both independently the best at what they do. MCE sounds more similar to Mylène Farmer's Innamoramento than it does 5. Likewise, 5 sounds closer to Cœur de pirate's Blonde than it does MCE. The immense genre gap makes a meaningful comparison between MCE and 5 impossible in my opinion, since the criteria of what makes each type of music good varies greatly.

That being said, I chose MCE because it has greater personal significance to me (namely, JEAM).

For me, it has to be UEDS. After discovering Lili, I had randomly started listening to many of her songs. But UEDS was the only album off which I listened to the first 6 songs and I was mesmerized. I just loved the Les Collines video which led me to the other tracks:
La Candida
Grand Central
Limelight
A Couer Fendre
Eden Eden (The most beautiful song on the record)
This was the only album which had so many tracks that I loved... Though I couldn't say no to anything Alizée... ;)

I can understand your reasoning.

Gourmandises was the first album I listened to after discovering her so that's always gonna be the most special to me.... but Mes Courants Electriques... is right up there with it.... I mean that whole Alizée era was sublime.

For me it's really all the songs that went into En Concert 2004 - such a golden age and epicentre of Alizée glory; and I still watch the Stars à domicile programmes regularly; we know beautiful Jessica's story (we follow her on Twitter even now) but I wonder where the lovely Julia is these days?
