Here's one I saw on Pinterest I hadn't seen before and I posted it to FB. It had the name Leslie Cook attached to it. I found he has a FB account and asked if it was okay to share it and he said okay. I'll have to ask him if he took it, but I doubt that because he lives in this country.

I'm sure you're right Ray and it's probably from the sheparding show. I never watched the whole show, so I probably missed it.

When I post a video or picture on Youtube or FB or here, if it's not an official video, I try to credit whoever posted it. That way if I do post something that happens to be a picture the poster took, they'll get credit.

So he is an actor (Pido)who at the time the picture was taken, was more known in Corsica than France but then he did move on to roles where he became well know in all of France too if I'm not mistaken.

Well if you're asking to post pictures they haven't seen before, as far a me and I think the same is probably true for Ray that there aren't that many pictures we haven't seen before. Maybe this isn't such a great name for what I think people are looking for in this thread. I think we should have a thread where people can post any picture they want whether it be rare or common place and if someone posted the same picture last week, it wouldn't really matter. I think members here are a little afraid to post in this thread for fear someone will say 'oh we've seen that one a million times before - no nutella for you! tonight'. So maybe someone should start a thread where you can post any picture you like if there isn't already one like that.

There are some fantastic shots of her. One particular gif of her seated at DALS with some other contestants, I had to do a triple take because it didn't look like her. It was probably from maybe three years ago. She was seriously chunky, even in her face. She has trimmed down since then and looks great.

When I went to save that picture, I found out I had seen it before back in November. I'm surprised I don't remember it because the I way I found out, I went to save it with pretty much the same name 'great picture' and then the old one popped up. I guess the memory banks are fading fast. But the picture I had was a cropped one. This one looks much better and it is a great picture.

I think it is entirely possible that Alizee has some vision issues even with corrective lenses. Some people do not take to wearing contacts very well, but in her case, the shortcomings of contacts might outweigh the bad memories of wearing glasses.

There are a couple of threads from last fall where this topic was discussed, in the Support section. You can read them to see how far we got. What killed the project is that the web site owner is no longer interested or involved with this site even though he continues to host it. The main administrator rarely is here. So, it's hard to put any ideas into reality because of the roadblocks.

I saw on FB that Rob Rhein had posted another video. This was from September of last year. I'm sure he must be past 1,000 by now. What caught my attention with this one was the title, 'Melt with Alizee three'. So I figured he used a song I like with it "I'll melt with you", which he did so I checked it out and he did a good job with it. Not really ... Droit du sol , literally means "Right of the soil" in french. Or more precisely it's the legal application of the Jus Soli http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jus_soli which grants any family of immigrant the right to stay on the french territory simply by having a child born in our country which automatically makes him/her a french citizen.

Actually it's a little more than a few doors away. The way the buildings are numbered on Rue Fesch, where 39 is, on the opposite side is 54 and each number is assigned to a wide building that has a few stores in it. Still, it's not far at all. It's roughly half way between her oldest place and her new place.

That rings a bell now, but like you, I don't think I've ever seen pictures of it. There was an apartment/condo in Paris, the one I posted a picture of her by the window at a computer recently. I don't know if it's one they had together or maybe it was something she got after they separated.

I don't know anything about the sound studio, but I would tend to believe that would be important to their livelihood.

I'm going to reference the album "5" again, the song 10 ans, which definitely is a song about her and Jeremy (even mentioning the blue Vespa).

One verse:

To pay back before dying.

It's sounds like they made a long term commitment to a two room apartment, at least at the beginning. We have discussed their finances before, and probably at this time they were worth the most they ever were. Their investment into Psych was probably quite large (sound studio included), and in the end they probably didn't profit much on it.

Then there are three consecutive albums with losses. Jeremy didn't do well either. With their relatively frugal start, it seems reckless to buy prime real estate on a golf course later.

When Alizee and Jeremy separated, I thought she left for Corsica and didn't stay in Paris?

Yes!......Many years ago when Alizee lived in her place near her parents, this picture gave away the general location. She has long since moved from that location and this was apparently a picture taken at her parent's place, which of course was the place where she grew up.

You're probably right. A very common practice for famous people.
Alizee was lucky because at the beginning of her career she was surrounded by very experienced people who certainly prepared her for what was to come and protected her very well.

Vintage instant: Alizée at the very beginning of her career in 2000

On the occasion of Alizée's 36th birthday, which took place on August 21, 2020, Télé Star decided to bring out from its archives exclusive photos of the singer who was then at the very beginning of her career in 2000.


So, a mixture of new photos plus some in higher resolution than seen previously.
Some of them more, well, revealing or sensual, than others. Not that it's anything new in the world of Alizée, perhaps just some slightly questionable wardrobe decisions considering her age at the time, at least in my opinion. Not to tarnish the event, new photos are new photos, at least worth having a look at.

All from the same photo-shoot on October 1st 2000. Just a few months ago I was scouring everywhere to try and find when this photo-shoot took place, maybe that date was already known, probably, this is at least some more confirmation on that. Perhaps someone insane enough would be able to track down where these photos were taken :giggle: :rolleyes:

That would be amazing. I've daydreamed of that many times, though I think there are all kinds of intellectual and image property rights that may prevent us from doing so. Still, the guy from Starfile (?) seems to have gotten his hands on some photos somehow, I guess maybe he's in the know.

This particular photographer is called Marco Dos Santos if I recall correctly. This photo was released sometime during the 5 era, but the shoot was deemed "too sexy" so it never saw the light of day save for a few samples in different outfits.

Edit for clarity - I am referring to the photoshoot in the picture I posted. Imverynuts posted a pair of pictures from the Gourmandises era, obviously.

Anyway, these photos are really cute. The pattern of that shirt is a bit showy, but I like how she can wear any kind of wierd garment and still look beautiful.
