I haven't been watching the figures all that carefully, but it seems like our membership was in the 300's just a week or two ago, now we're in the 400's and looking like we'll break 500 any day now. I'm sure you must have all the hard data at your fingertips. Has membership surged since Operation Digg Pt 2?

Haha! Thanks, but I was hoping for a little more detailed info and analysis, like "within 2 weeks after Digg Pt 2, membership increased by x%" or whatever.

before digg .. we were getting around 900 unique visitors everyday. after digg we got over 40,000 unique visits in the next three days. since then we have been getting between 1500 and 5000 uniques per day, usually around 2200. We have broke 5000 in one day quite a few times after digg.

We have had around 180 new members in the past 3 weeks, of that about 30 are pure spammers. More of the new members could end up being spammers also, since many of them have never posted.

These aren't amazing numbers, but I think they are very solid, and definitely growing :)

I've found that Google search gives different results depending on where you are searching from. In the Netherlands I get totally different results than in the UK, US, or Switzerland. Still, the PageRank (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank)algorithm that Google uses to determine search rankings is mainly based on other high profile sites linking to a site. Since the Wikipedia article scores highly in Google searches, the fact that it links to moi-alizee.us should help the pagerank. Same for digg.

Still, I hope that we don't grow too rapidly, since having a small community of people who know each other and know what they're talking about it usually better than hundreds of newbies talking about the same things over and over again.... Let's leave them to the bigger forums... Quality > Quantity !

wow, i had no idea this website was created just a month before i found out about Alizee. i thought it was here for years. eh maybe thats just because its well organized and its a great website. but i also didnt know this website had so much registered users.

but i like this website better than AF (i dont visit AA), sometimes the forums in AF can seem quite quiet. plus i like how in this website, the bumped threads are shown in the front page. saves a lot of clicking.
