A friend of mine from Europe told me about this new music video which recently came out.
It was written and produced by Jeremy Chatelain and another composer. Jeremy also starred in it.
The title means 'Carton on the right', which Purebreak charts describe as a 'melancholic clip'.

"17 years after "Star Academy 2", Jérémy Chatelain continues in the shadows a career of composer
and producer. From now on, the singer returns to the foreground with "Carton on the right", a new single
in the form of a break-up ballad. Discover the clip!".

I hope this isn't about Alizée, because if it is, what it means after years of her trying to make
their marriage work when all hope was lost, she finally gave up and moved back to Ajaccio,
now that she is married again, now that she has a baby on the way with her new husband,
he's having feelings of regret!!!. He hurt her then and a song like this can hurt her again. .

He should have just manned up to the fact he screwed up big time and realize if this is about Alizee,
all he is going to do is bring more pain into Alizee's life. That is something he's good at.

'Lucille' might be a reference to a cousin of Alizee.
I'm not sure what the reference to the Spanish island of Ibiza is about?

Hopefully, I'm wrong about this. Maybe as Idealizer supposedly wasn't about Mylene Farmer,
this song isn't about Alizee.

If you do not
sleep at night
If you think of me
Pass a phone call
You know I'm here
And the likes of girls
It smells like vanilla
But it's junk
I'm here in my big empty house
I just play Fifa
You know I'm solid
When the photos are there
But if I smoke the weed
I see your clothes
I see you in front of me
So I wind All day October in summer
Carton right facing the sun
I should have a break
I'm running all day
It helps me to forget
Whatever we say
And whatever we do
Better stay there
Better stay there
Weeks go by
Summer in Ibiza
You imagine girls
I tried without you
But arrived in the bed
I caught myself thinking about you
I'm back on Paris
Looks like everything rolls for me
I met Lucille she told me you had a new guy
And I smiled she continues life
I'm happy for you and I'm happy
All day October in summer
Carton right facing the sun
I should have a break
I roll all day
It helps me to forget
Whatever we say
And whatever we do
Better stay there
Better stay there"

That's interesting and sad...even if it is not about Alizée, it does sound like he is acknowledging he is not happy and he is remembering happier times. As I read the words, I can't figure out if he is actually hoping the person he is writing the song about will call him or if he is really resigned. I would think it must not be to Alizée, or he would not suggest she call him if she can't sleep at night. That would not be something you write to a happily married woman with a baby on the way! But then, if he also says he is happy for the person. Either way, it is a pretty depressing song.

I thought he had remarried and had another child with his new wife. Maybe he broke up with her and this song is about that woman?

If it is, then the pattern is obvious.

It's a commercial song. It may not have anything to do with his life. If you are going to write a pop song that you would like to be commercially successful, what are you going to write about, probably love and loss? You want it to be emotional, so what is more emotional than grief? Because the music is more important than the lyrics, I'm not predicting a big hit.

Here's an article from May, 2018, just over a year ago, about when Jeremy and his companion, Julie Favre, had a baby boy. It sounds like at the time, they weren't married.

Apparently, he hasn't been active in the music industry since 2006. Now he doesn't work on an album, but just one song.

It's difficult to find info on him and very difficult to find info on Julie.

Yep…

This is a very “generic”, “if the shoe fits” sad song… :o

Very very “open” to “interpretation” and “application”… ;)

I hope… :13:

For if not…

OUCH… :(

I really do hope it’s not a case of “oops I did it again”… ;)

It could just be a case of him trying to get back into the music industry and a 'melancholic' storyline is what he thought would work best and it's about a fictional character. It could also be about the woman he only a year ago had a son with, but I checked his Instagram page and of over a hundred photos posted which include some of Annily, there's not one picture of his son. There is also only one picture of a woman who I think is the woman who is the father of his son and in it, she's playing an arcade-style game. Maybe there are other sites where he's posted many pictures of 'his family', but so far, I haven't been able to find any.
