BTW the word "ADD" is used in math, like when you add 2 numbers. The word "AD" is used for ADvertisement.

What it says:
ALIZÉE, HER BIG RETURN
"Moi, je m'appelle Lolita"
is way behind her! Alizée,
from here on a young mother,
is preparing her big return.
Jérémy Chatelain, graduate
of the Star Academy and father
of the child, is participating
in the writing of the album.
Out of curiosity, what magazine and date is this from?

Yea, I'm kind of excited too, I just fear that it's false hopes.
Isn't that old one ?
Atleast there were one very similar few months back.
It'd be nice to know how old news this is, or isnt? Just the other day I thought about how cool it would be if she'd make a surprise return in a show or something. Like, "I'm sorry but we have some last minute changes.." And BANG! she would appear  I've also been thinking about her change in style and all that cause its gonna be alot different
It's old scan from few months back.
Hey no, and you should know! It's from that Lyon DirectSoir we saw there last week with Condoleeza Rice on the cover.
Aaaaaahhh ! THAT'S why it looked so familiar.
Oh yea, you are right !
I knew I had seen it somewhere before !

the interview to jeremy a few months ago... he said the same
You can see the full magazine here:
http://www.directsoir.net/v1/Pages-Direct-Soir/Telechargement.aspx
Download the December 1st edition and flip to page 18.
EDIT: I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing a copy. I mean, yeah, it's not much of an article, but they were giving the damn thing away. That scary picture of Rice kept my hands off!
Should have just cut the Lili article off of it :p
Cool, you can download the magazine in pdf form from that link. :)

it can't be false hopes, Alizée promised she is coming back. She can't lie, the universe would cease to exist or something if that happened :)

i think her promise and the news about her next album is set in stone. to make false promises about it would make her a liar. "duh" . but a beautiful liar nonetheless! :o she will be back, oh yesss, she will..be back. *ahem

hehe :p i want to believe this
I'm sure she tries her very best to come back. Was (is?) there funding issues or what was the main reason for the delay? Producing difficulties? If someone is really saying no to her, some serious beating should take place  Errhm.. I mean persuasion ;)

she wrote "promis" on the note, and dotted the "i" with a heart! the cuteness in that overrites any lie potential

I think there's at least a good chance that you're right about this. I wouldn't think that he Christmas season would be the ideal time to stage a major come-back. It seems more natural to me that she would shoot for January, February, or even March. A Christmas release just doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to me.
It lloks like they were intending to come back around October, give or take a few weeks, but maybe ran into some sort of snag or delay, and then decided to wait for the new year.

Are you kidding? Christmas is the best time to release an album, you know, people buying gifts for each other and whatnot..

because we really really hope its not

It can momentarily boost sales, but then you're quickly forgotten in the rush. The holidays are a good time to release a single product, but not a particularly good one to get noticed and stage a long-term comeback in.

We don't know 100% for sure, but it's 99% certain. If fake, the forger went through a tremendous amount of effort. This wasn't some online thing, but a real physical letter send to Emilie's address, complete with accurate signature and handwriting, and along with a dedicated autograph on an official photo print.

Thanks Snatcher, I didn't have the time to reply earlier. Christmas is a good time to release impulse items and Christmas-themed items (like a christmas album of some superficial kind). When you stage a major comeback, and want to make the rounds on all the MTV-like programs to promote the album, take a promotional tour, and such, you want to do it at time when people's minds aren't caught up the holiday season and the bombardment of new products and entertainment comimg out at that time. Also, you want people to be buying there own albums to maximize sales, not hit people at a time of increased spending on other people. I know I'm speaking from an American commercial perspective here, and things might not be so hideous in Europe (I hope not), but I think some of the same basic principles apply. You want to try to grab as much attention as possible without having to compete with a major holiday season or having to conform to the "spirit of the holiday."
