You guys don’t know me I'm just a guy who has lurked here for close to a year. I ran across Alizee back in early 2005 when someone posted a link to the La Isla Bonita video at a web site I visited. I was hooked from that moment on.

Now the reason for this post, after reading this I had to register and put my two cents in. BTW I’m a guy that is old enough to be her father, I take this post as total BS. Although long in my discussion of this I feel it is well worth it to see the idiocy of this girls revealing information on Alizee and Jeremy.

I will begin with you giving you my source, so you understand that it is really reliable. Since 7th grade (or 6th or 8th ) I am in the same class as Jérémy Chatelain's sister, and my family is really close to the whole Chatelain family, and thus of Alizée. What I mean with "my family" is mostly my uncle, who is best friend with them (Alizée's parents I guess). He even went on winter hollydays with the Chatelain family, Alizée and Anny-Lee. I get along well with her sister, we have known each other since our childhood, and she happens to trust me and sometimes tells me stuff. Up to you to consider if what she says is reliable or not, because some people I told about what she said thought she was just saying what she said to make herself interesting. I personally totally trust her, since she is very close to Alizée (she often goes shopping with Alizée at the Evry 2 mall. So it's up to the people to believe what she said or not. (I often go to the Evry 2 mall, I hate the place, but it's close to my work. I can't imagine Alizée going there though, the people around are just crappy and creepy).

Regarding Mylène and Alizée's relationship, it's really weird to read that they still get along very well, because, from what I know, it's totally the opposite. Alizée is mad at Mylène for several reasons.
The first one is this story of the double meanings in the songs. Yeah, it seems unbelievable, but Alizée didn't really fully understand what she was singing "je donne ma langue aux chats", "des défilés de doigts", "j'ai dans la gorge une épine". And when Jérémy made her see it (ie how some ofthe songs had a hidden sexual meaning), she didn't like it at all. First point.
Then, Alizée is mad at Mylène for money business. I won't say too much about this, but I can say the following : Alizée thinks Mylène made a lot of money using her, and ripping her off. This is totally normal though, as Mylène was the producer and songwriter. And also, it seems like Laurent's music isn't appreciated by Alizée any more. The Chatelain family and her don't restrain themselves from saying out loud that until now, she was singing "CRAPPY pop music". This is an Alizée quote sthat her sister reported me...

Regarding Alizée's return, I have a lot less info, as they want to keep everything secret.
Regarding the content, there will be many changes, a sound that is more rock oriented, featuring Jérémy Chatelain, Jean Fauque, Daniel Darc. There will be a song about Romeo and Juliette (like it was mentioned in some newsletters of whatever sites, except that I was told about this a long long long time ago, I even posted this piece of info on the forum at the time). One song will start with the following line : "La mélancolie dans le collimateur...", a song with "rap" style, but sung by Alizée in a regular way (not like rap).

OK, I said everything I knew...

First lets start with Alizee that we all know, what is her most precious want and need?
That’s right her privacy for her and her family. If there was this so called blow up and fight for Alizee between Jeremy and Mylene don’t you think between the fall of 2003 and 2007 someone would have gotten wind of it? People talk and things get out sooner or later. Usually sooner.

And no one has heard one word about Alizee and her in-laws feelings concerning her first two CD’s. What no one knew about this until this post? 3 years and it just gets out now. Just before her third CD is released? I’ll go into this later on.

This paragraph is what really doesn’t pass the smell test at all.

Let’s break this down line by line.

I thought Chatelains and the Jacotey’s didn’t know each other until after Jeremy and Alizee met on March 25th 2003.

So her family is really close to the Chatelains and after 2-1/2 years of marriage her uncle not related to either family is now best friends with the Jacotey’s who live on Corsica.
Correct me if I wrong but that sounds pretty far fetched.

Second statement that if true the author and Jeremy’s sister are dead meat after these conversations were made public.

Anyone remember the interview that Jeremy had in late 05 or during 06 where the host asked about Alizee and he quickly changed the subject after giving a minimal amount of information on his wife and daughter. Remember the first law of Alizee she cherishes her privacy.
Your sister in law is blabbing your family’s most personal information to a girlfriend who in turn is now telling it to a reporter? Do any of you think Alizee or Jeremy are ever going ever talk to her sister-in-law about anything personal? That alone would cause a major rift between Alizee and her husband’s family.

Lets look at these supposed sexual meanings

Je donne ma langue aux chats - I give my language to the cats
Des defiles de doigts - parades of fingers
j'ai dans la gorge une épine - I have in the throat a thorn

The first and third don’t even come close to being sexual in nature.
Any line can be taken out of context. One line means nothing without seeing the whole song laid out in front of you. The second line although sounding provocative again with out seeing the whole song laid out line by line it could mean anything.

Jeremy’s sister thinks that Alizee is so naïve she didn’t know what she was singing about?
Hardly, 15-18 years olds are far wiser about lauguage in songs than most people give them credit for. Alizee may have been sheltered but no one is that sheltered she knew exactly what those songs were about. Again something doesn’t pass the smell test.

Remember how Mylene was so careful to give Alizee that wholesome perfect teenager image we all adore in her. These songs may have been provocative but the words were no more sexual then the early Beatles songs of 1964-1966. People’s imaginations are putting a meaning of what they think the message in the song is not what Mylene wrote.

Who has sold more CD’s and DVD’s Alizee or Jeremy?
Alizee has sold far more by a large margin. She holds the title of having the largest selling French language album ever. And how many awards do Mylene and Laurent have between them for song writing?
That pretty much sums up what that supposed statement by the Chatelain family about her music. Total BS

Gee there must be a lot of people like us out there with no musical taste that have bought over 4 million CD’s and DVD’s of Alizee’s
I again smell a total BS line.

As far as the complaint that Alizee feels ripped off I’ll let pass because I can see an artist feeling that way. Mylene and Laurent have invested millions of Euro’s into Alizee’s career and they deserve to get a return on their investment. Those official music video's we love cost between 100K and 400K Euros to make. They fronted the money for her first two CD's How much money did they spend on the band and dancers before the concert tour even started in 2004?

If it hadn’t been for them, Alizee would never have been raised to the level of popularity she has today. Fan boards like this one would not exist if it wasn’t for Mylene and Laurent’s vision, time and financial investment in Alizee.

If she does feel this way it is pure jealously probably invoked by her husband and family due her popularity? He will never make it as big as his wife and that can be hard for any man to deal with. It takes a special man to step back and let his wife stand in the spotlight.

I don’t know Jeremy but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he would manipulate his wife this way.

Over all I see this only as a real pain in the Derriere trying to cause trouble between Alizee, Jeremy and his family.
