AS CleverCowboy suggested i started a new thread for this topic it's called
"Alizée en Concert" - Translation Project 2020 and we can continue translating, discussing ...there http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/show...537#post268537 |
Does anyone know what Jessica says in the video?
1) ALIZEE: are you happy? (or satisfied) JESSICA: Yes! 2) ALIZEE:It's mum. 3)ALIZEE: Good day (Hello) 4) JESSICA : (Untranslated) 5) JESSICA : (Untranslated) https://drive.google.com/file/d/193f...ew?usp=sharing |

Edit: I just looked at the part where they walk into Jessica's room and it sounds like she's saying "ma chambre", my room at the end and if you listen to the way Google translate pronounces it, maybe that's what she was saying earlier? So maybe the third time she uses it in the store she is saying "A notre ma chambre?", We go to my room?. https://translate.google.com/?hl=en&...text=my%20room https://youtu.be/O4AEHmPZvTw?t=594 |

Nah, that doesn't fit, at 0:11 in your 1st video, mom says something like "Tu tiens bon, ça va ?" and Jessica responds at 0:14 "Contente !", translated that would be: "You holding up, you ok? - (I'm) Happy!"
I'm not 100% sure on "Tu tiens bon" part and there's something before it, maybe "Est-ce que" which is just a question marker. The clapping is too loud to understand it clearly. Any native speakers that can clear it up? |

One year ago, the only French I knew was "merci" and "bonjour" but then I discovered Alizée and now I'm reading books and watching TV shows in French. Just so I don't clutter this thread with my useless remarks, I would like to ask you if you know where I could download the original ActuAlizée in French, all the links I found seem dead. |
Surprises never end with translations.I always thought Jessica was saying something to mom, and it turns out it's mom's voice.I can clearly recognize the word "Contente!" when Alizee speaks to Jessica at the beginning of the video.
a local dialect on the coastal side of my country uses that word with the same meaning, but when Jessica pronounces it i can't recognize it, she was probably a lot excited. |

As far as ActuAlizée, I'm quite sure we have it in English. I'm not sure about French, but I'll look. EDIT: I do have 1 through 5 in English in pdf. Here's part 1 if that's any help to you. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aZp...ew?usp=sharing |
