Thanks, Radioactiveman. ...which program do you use?

RadioactiveMan 11-30-2006 05:31 PM

I use Photoshop 7. I didn't get CS2 because I'm happy with Photoshop 7 and it takes up more resources so I wouldn't be able to do other things like play music and surf the internet as easily if I upgraded.

Yea photoshop 7 =) I use an illigit version of that. Btw nice sig radioactive.

Theres so many benefits to use CS2 (CS1 doesn't really have any changes).

For starters, there is quite a bit that is multi-threaded in CS2 which makes dual-core computers run A LOT faster.

The layer pallet got some useful changes, and unless it's my imagination, the program loads faster... CS2 loads in ~9 seconds when I have the default font set, and PS7 used to take ~30 seconds. CS2 takes about a minute now, as I have 1800 fonts installed...

Don't laugh...

Don't laugh... I'm still a n00b to all this and trying to learn GIMP on my own is a slow and tedious process.

It took me a long time (~4 hours last Saturday) just to get to this point. :o

I know, the images are too fuzzy and the back ground too busy and dark... :(
