I think that could be a big part of this puzzle. I think she enjoys being the center of attention and these tatoos would indeed draw a lot of attention, but, not for the same reason. Before she was the center of attention because of the beauty of her performances. Now she may be the center of attention, but it's not because of their beauty and I'm not going to say what I think it is.

I think Alizee is telling some of her fans to "cool it" - and the tatoos do just that. It may drive away some of those infatuated, possessive fans that she has reason to fear.
