I thought the word chinki is used just here in India. Here people even name their kids as chinki. I didn't know that it isn't a polite term.

Btw, why the word Asian is used interchangeably for Chinese and Koreans is western countries? I mean even Arabs, Indians etc are Asians.

Arabs and Indians are Asians, are they not? I mean of the 7 continents, which one fits them the best? The closest ones are Asia and Africa, but geographically, Asian describes them the best. It's just that the stereotype is that Asian = yellow.

I saw a rerun of Alizée in my friends garage ... at first he brought out a tiny 8x8" tv screen to watch it on.. and I was like WTF? ... and he kept telling me to trust him on it and that things will get better... so I waited and waited... wondering what he had in store... well a half hour later a friend of his comes by with a TV projector and he hooks it up to the smaller TV ... before you know it ... BAM! Alizée is like 8 feet tall on a 10 x 14 foot wall!!!! it was awesome!... we also saw some Monday Night Football that day too... this was back in October.

I'd hope, because calling any of the past month or so's Monday Night Football awesome is an insult to football and to awesome.

Bigger than life Alizee! I wish I have that. May be I'd work at a movie theater and watch En concert there before the theater opens! :yahoo:
