Alizée America main page images, past to present

I updated the main image on the home page today, I thought it would be neat to post all of the old ones in place. I still think the 2nd one is my all time favorite

I agree with you.

The first one on your list is the one that was on here where i first joined, and that image of her looking up to you has always stuck w/me.....so i think i'd choose the first image as my favorite...the 2nd one is a close second :)

TheBarrett 11-18-2008 12:00 AM

Awesome second one is awesome.

I agree, with the next two being the 3rd from last and then the last (current) image. :)

Ben 11-18-2008 12:08 AM

I like the last three with curls. :)
The one from NRJ Radio would have been really cool too if she had used that as an official style for awhile. Wish she had.

rcs 11-18-2008 04:49 AM

I remember seeing that first one. She looked Italian, I thought. My friend uploaded that image onto his phone a couple years ago. It's an image that was burned into my memory. I love it.

alizee lover 11-18-2008 09:49 AM

I love all of them :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

dreamer 11-18-2008 11:12 AM

All of them are great. I guess the sixth picture is my favorite here. I really like it how she just sits and stares...:D

chazkimies 11-18-2008 11:31 AM

the 2nd one and the last one.
beauty:)

Geech 11-18-2008 11:35 AM

First then second in that order imo.

Uh, well I like it because I first became smitten with her (as opposed to just interested in her act, or her music) watching En Concert, and that picture looks like it came from there. I loved her hair in that, and her cherubic face. Her expression there looks like she's in the throes of seducing the entire audience, in that way of hers that somehow makes one feel they've just seen the purest light and the happiest and safest place on earth.

So, that's why I like it; can't speak for everyone else. :)

Yeah, that'd be great.;)

heyamigo 11-18-2008 03:34 PM

people dig the tired eyes look. lol i remember there was a thread here someone was asking if she was doing drugs because her eyes were so bugged out. of course it was locked pretty quickly.

lefty12357 11-18-2008 08:31 PM

I like the second one the most, then the last 3.

Amigo! 11-18-2008 08:50 PM

While I do like all of them... The 6th one looks like she wishes she had some company

edgar93 11-18-2008 09:11 PM

#1, 2 and 5 are my favorite ones . But the one I like the most is #2. It definitely must be on my room´s wall :D.

rcs 11-18-2008 09:22 PM

Well, if you have the En Concert DVD and watched it a bunch, the 2nd pic may remind you of the time where she seems care-free, happy, energetic, pre-J *cough*, not so made up, and successful. That's what appeals to me when I view that #2 pic. It also symbolized an era of her career which I badly wish I witnessed. It's sometimes painful for me to watch En Concert knowing that this amazing performer was a "happening thing" back then on the other side of the planet, and I absolutely was not tuned in. Painful I say...:(

I couldn't agree more. I don't think Alizée completely understands what we love most about her.

I agree! I sometimes think back and wonder what i was doing back the early years......then again, i was working for a DotCom Company make tons of money. So i was pretty busy back then in the year 2000-01...the year Alizee made her appearance.

If i'd only changed my focus back then for one second and saw what was going on around the world...i'd have witnessed Alizee and her rise to stardom in Europe.

Ah yes, thanks for correcting. Another reason for her peaked happiness. But professionally too, I'm sure, some would say. I don't know, I like both eras, but 2000-2003 makes me sad I wasn't apart of it.

pepelepew 11-19-2008 02:37 AM

I think the first nine are my favorites.

nurvonic 11-19-2008 04:18 AM

i still have love for the first image. it brings me back. i remember people admitting they didnt like the cleavage but i myself had no problem with it.

Right, Im always feeling so sad because in that time I didn't even know her :(. And I feel worse when I realize that maybe, I won't see another performance/concert like that one again.
Damn, wish I hadn't been 7 years old in that time

Cus you'r lying? :P

The mic holdin' one is my favourite. I can understand why people pick nr2 cus of the En Concert vibes, but the picture alone isn't very good if you ask me. The rest of the curlys and the NRJ comes next, great photos and styles, especially the chair one, just adorable  (this must be the most frequent smiley on this forums lol)

Stop watching yourself blind at the past or you will miss the present. Just glance back with joy, nothing happens more than once.

My favorite, however, is the first one, because it was those impossibly gorgeous eyes that beckoned me to this awesome community at the beginning. I remember staring at that picture for hours, wondering how someone of such beauty and grace could possibly exist (and, understandably, it was the first picture I tried my hand at drawing).

The current image comes in at a not-so-close second, mostly because of how natural it is. For the others, one could argue that she exudes such charm and energy because there are people to impress and entertain (photoshoots, concerts, promotions, etc.). For the last one, however, I get the impression that she is just as beautiful and charismatic beyond the stage, the camera, and the limelight, as she is with them. It reinforces how "real" she in contrast to the majority of modern stars, who are pretentious, selfish, and false.

Jeff 11-19-2008 06:00 PM

The 8th one.......wow......:eek::wub::wub:

That's just it: that picture just doesn't look like her for some odd reason . And unless you pull out an old yearbook photo, I'm calling b.s. on this one :D.

OK, then, how about this pic, is she in this one? It's so tiny I can't really tell for sure if that's her in the back.

I wonder whatever happened to that prop, anyway. It looks like an interesting bit of structural engineering.
