Les Enfoires 2016

The show dates have been announced for Les Enfoires 2016.

There will be 7 shows (2 on sunday), running from the 20th to the 25th of January. It apparently is in Paris. It said it's at the Accors hotel Arena which I believe is the Bercy theater. I attended two of the LE shows here back in 2013 or was it 12. It was great that I found a hotel around a corner.

Of course this is all meaningless to most if Alizée does not attend. I posted in another thread just a little while ago that if a new album is to become a reality, it might just get started here. But as far as I know, she may have already decided that she wont attend. I hope she can and will appear in it for more reasons than just seeing her.

Ticket sale dates have not been announced yet.

Thanks Bigdan!

"Many returns, Nolwenn Leroy who was absent last year due to tour preparation. The return of Garou, absent for a few years. Alizee will also be back this year and the singer Lara Fabian has not participated motherfuckers since 2005. The most anticipated return is undoubtedly that of Muriel Robin who is set to make his return in 2016 after nine years absence.":aha::omg::sstruck::2_thumbs::yay: :yahoo:

I wouldn't plan to go to expecting Alizée just based on that article. But there is an interesting development mentioned in that article and on the official site. The pit will still be a free-for-all but the seating will be sold in two sections, and I can't tell from the translations but it may be that the tickets will specify your seat. That could mean for those who purchase seats that they don't have to arrive early and wait outside for hours. Anyone interpret it differently?

Bigdan 11-05-2015 03:44 AM

– 75 €uros = numbered seat 1st class
– 65 €uros = numbered seat 2nd class
– 55 €uros= standing in front of the stage

Scruffydog777 11-05-2015 08:46 AM

Here's a little more detail about the seats from the Les Enfoires web site.

The rates for the concerts are:
- € 65 (seated CAT 1) / 55 € (seated CAT 2) / 45 € (standing) for the first concert Wednesday, January 20, 2016, which constitutes a general rehearsal;
- € 75 (seated CAT 1) / 65 € (seated CAT 2) / 55 € (standing) for other concerts of January 21 to 25.

Apparently this theater just completed an 18 month rehab last month. I believe it was called the Bercy theater when I went to the Les Enfoires show there 2 years ago, which I guess is where it's at and it looks like now it's called the Accors Hotel Arena.

Rev 11-05-2015 08:19 PM

So, how many of the shows will you attend?

Scruffydog777 11-06-2015 11:22 AM

You shouldn't have asked. I'm in a fine kettle of fish type of situation. I hope to get two tickets for one show. If I can get two, I will try and hook up with a German member of AF that I went to shows with in two different years before.

The problem is, I tore my right rotator cuff at work back in july. I had to get a few things corrected before the surgery such as getting rid of a cough. I had a couple of levels off, such as my potassium and something else. So I was put on transitional (light) duty for about 4 weeks. I had the operaion. I was out, collecting workmans comp for about 8 weeks.

Now I'm back to work transitional duty (deskwork only) again. I'm supposed to see my doctor again in mid december at which time I'll probably be cleared for light duty. Apparently from what my supervisor said, you are only allowed so many weeks of transitional duty and he said mine would run out at the same time I see my doctor again. He said because it runs out, I would have to come back full duty, even if the doctor doesn't clear me for full duty.

I talked to our union shop steward the next morning and he gave me the rest of the story. He said if my transitional duty time runs out in mid dec and my doctor wont clear me back to full duty, that means I go back out and collect workmans comp which is fine by me.

The problem is as far as Les Enfoires is you can't fly with the company discount if you are out because of injury. So I have to wait and see what happens at that doctors appointment.

There's another issue concerning vacation, which will have an influence on what show I will try and get a ticket for, but I have to get this matter straightened out first.

Hopefully too, we will have the DALS tour schedule by then. I think I will try and get tickets for an L E show when there is no tour show scheduled, just in case, Alizée wants to stick close to her fiance on nights he'll be holding another woman in his arms...........dancing of course.

If I do buy tickets and can't go, I should be able to sell my tickets through a reseller like Zepass.

Bottom line: I will try and get tickets for one show; which show, I'm not sure of yet.

I hadn't realized that you had injured yourself. Sorry to hear it. How are you healing from the surgery?

I'm doing well thanks. I've got most of my range of motion back with little pain. It's just a matter of building up the strength again which seems to be a very slow process.

I think you need some care, but the Enfoires way...:p

You could find a certified sports trainer that deals with these types of situations near you that could help you out.

I found a personal trainer by me that I like a lot. He has saved me a whole lot of time and misery showing me what works and what doesn't work for flexibility, balance, and strength training.

A few weeks and a couple hundred dollars might be worth it, to get you back to work quickly. Face it you're not thirty anymore and it's going to take a little longer at your age to recover fully from your injury.

The upside is YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD for resistance training, IE Weight Training. Just get yourself a trainer that is certified and experienced with rehab for sports injuries and you will never regret spending the money or time.

Scruffydog777 11-07-2015 06:18 PM

Well actually I go twice a week to the Faulkner hospital for physical therapy. It's only about 2 miles from me. It's the same place where I had my surgery. That hospital is part of the Brigham and Women's hospital and is one of the highly regarded and respected hospitals in this area.

I was blessed to have an orthopedic surgeon who too, is highly regarded and she recommended a P T who is in the same boat, so I've been very lucky in that regard and I've been sure not to miss a session because my company like the camel trying to get into the tent, tries to get more and more out of me, when my shoulder is still too weak to do most things and if I miss a session, then do something they shouldn't have asked me to do and re-injure my shoulder, they'll blame it on me. Last night, I had to draw a line in the sand saying this is how far the doctor's note will let me go and I'm not crossing that line.

Due to the terrible attacks in Paris the first ticket sale is postponed and will take place in early December.

The concerts themselves are going to happen (for now).

Thank you for that information Jenny. Will you be able to attend? I always look forward to your videos.

Sadly not. I won't be able to go on holiday.

Scruffydog777 11-23-2015 11:46 AM

I'm sure there might be a song or two added because of what happened in Paris.

Here is a song from last years show "Sur ma route" (on my way). Songs like this are why I like this show so much and seeing so many familiar faces out there is almost like seeing an extended Alizée family. It makes waiting in the cold for at least 6 hours bearable, but only if Alizée is in the show.

Here's another one. This is from Indila's "Dernière Danse" (Last Dance).

The Enfoires page has been updated with links to ticket info...

http://www.enfoires.com/pages/spectacle.php

Scruffydog777 12-04-2015 03:35 AM

Last time I checked it, it looked like tickets go on sale December 8th at 9 or 10 am Paris time, depending upon whether you're ordering through the internet or by phone, which should be about 3 or 4 local time for me. So I'll double check that info and be up bright and early that morning. I will also have to make sure my accounts at FNAC and one other ticket site are still active. It's an ordeal trying to get them and I still don't know if I'll be able to attend.

Scruffydog777 12-06-2015 03:32 PM

Looks like Tuesday morning ( I have to double check, up until an hour ago, I thought it was monday) the tickets go on sale on line. First of all, I doubt I will be able to attend because of my work situation, but I will try and get done the very tough task of getting a couple of tickets, then worry about the job situation later.

I have 3 accounts now with digitick, ticketmaster and francebillet. I will have 3 computers on line early in the morning. One thing I tried to do but couldn't was to give them a credit card number so the usually very difficult task of getting them to accept a payment method wouldn't be a worry, but no site would allow that, so I have that will be another hurdle to overcome. I thought they had something similar to paypal, but apparently that is not the case.

Ray4AJ 12-06-2015 06:36 PM

I'm looking over the info I see at the websites. It looks like the walk-in sales places open at 9 in France, and the phone-in and internet sales begin at 10. So I guess that's 4am Tuesday morning for you.

I haven't found how they are breaking up the two different classes of seats. They only have seating listed as category 1 and category 2. I can't find if you can choose at all which seat you get withing the categories or not. Do you think you will get floor tickets or seating tickets?

I see ticketmaster.fr has a button for English at the top of the page.
http://www.ticketmaster.fr/en/manife...idmanif/361546

It also looks like they offer for you to print your own tickets but I didn't read the conditions for doing that but then you don't have to pay for them to be shipped.

But I was thinking that maybe (I've only bought tickets for a concert once, and that was directly through the venue so I don't know if...) you could order through the US ticketmaster and then the payment process might be easier. If they would offer the tickets there in the first place.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/Les-Enfo...stvenue_module

In any case, I hope your efforts are successful!

Scruffydog777 12-07-2015 12:24 AM

Thanks Ray. It is a confusing process. I'll give it my best shot.

Scruffydog777 12-08-2015 04:45 AM

I'm in! In what was a relatively easy process this time, I got 2 tickets for 2 different shows. I hope that's not a sign that people might be shying away because of what happened. One show I got tickets for the floor, the other for the seats. Two big obstacles remain. Will my company allow me to go if I'm still on light duty at that point and will I be able to get a flight. I had earlier checked out flights and it looks like every day is pretty heavily booked.

Maybe someone can look up where Port S Rang 24 place 15 and 16 are? I have to go back to bed to get up for an early doctor's appointment.

It looks to me like this. But it is just a guess on the actual seat position.

Practical information
Exterior entrances:

A new auditorium means new entrances…! The AccorHotels Arena has France's biggest auditorium with several entrances inside and outside:

A main entrance on the Grand Hall level, Rue de Bercy side, for holders of Gradin, Balcon or Corbeille tickets
A secondary entrance on the Hall Seine level, via the footbridge running between Parc de Bercy and the AccorHotels Arena
A Pit & Orchestra entrance, Parc de Bercy side, for holders of floor standing tickets marked doors X, Y and Z
Another entrance may be open for certain events: it's known as Le Studio

Finally, there's a separate entrance to the ice rink, Parc de Bercy side, after the fountain.

The AccorHotels Arena has been renovated and made more accessible to people with disabilities and reduced mobility. Visit the section containing all the information you need by clicking here.

Useful information:

We recommend that you check the entrance marked on your ticket before travelling to the AccorHotels Arena to save you time and stress, especially if you're delayed on your journey.
Remember that we open the doors between 1½ and 2 hours before every event.

Finally, to keep up to date with the list of prohibited items that will be automatically confiscated, please read our Rules and Regulations by clicking here.

Interior entrances:

Once our stewards have checked your ticket, you can go to the Gallery, where the doors to the main auditorium can be found.

To find your seat in the auditorium, pit or orchestra quickly, check your tickets and follow the instructions below:

In the Gradin, Balcon or Corbeille (Doors A to U):

Access by the Grand Hall or the Hall Seine, then the Gallery at the top of the stairs

In the Pit or Orchestra (Doors X to Z):

Access by the Pit & Orchestra entrance, Parc de Bercy side

Useful information:

Due to layout changes depending on the type of event, the auditorium's numbering is reversed in the tiered seating. So row 1 of the tiered seating isn't the first row from the bottom, but the first row from the top when you go into the auditorium.
In the balconies, row 81 is the lowest and row 91 is the highest.

For security reasons, you're not allowed to block the stairways or the emergency exits. Our stewards and security team work hard to maintain the public's safety. The management reserves the right to remove anyone who breaches the arena's Rules and Regulations.

Important: Due to renovations to the AccorHotels Arena, some seats may have moved. Please ask our stewards for help if you have any problems. They will find the best possible solutions.

Scruffydog777 12-08-2015 12:33 PM

Thanks Ray! Not great seats, but not bad. The best part about these seats, is you don't have to wait out in the cold for hours. Those seats are for the 25th. I also have tickets for the 22nd which is for the floor.

There's so many obstacles. First.....will she be in any of the shows or just a few or all? No matter what's been said, I'll believe it when I see, expecting even if she does plan on it, there could be a last minute cancellation.

Next is trying to get my vacation switched. I like taking a weeks vacation in January, so I scheduled one in January. I tried to coincide it with the one week break before the Superbowl. Unfortunately that's in the week following most of the shows. Hopefully I can get it switched in which case, I can make both shows. If not, I think I can just make that last show on the 25th.

Next obstacle is my shoulder. I had rotator cuff surgery a couple of months ago. The company can deny you flight benefits if your not on full duty, but if I'm not back to full duty, I have a good work reputation at work, so if there's a way around it, I think I will find it.

Next obstacle is the flights. As I mentioned there has to be empty seats for me to fly and the flights to Paris are heavily booked in that week. I may be able to fly into let's say Germany, and catch a flight or a train from there, which wont be a problem if I can get my vacation switched.

I'm wondering about the camera situation too. I usually take your averages size digital camera with a decent zoom, but with my shoulder situation, I may have trouble holding it up for more than a minute at a time or at least steadily anyways and that's the main reason for me going is to get video of her. I'm wondering if RMJ is going and how he will make out. One advantage of the long waits is you usually have a big bag where you put your warm clothing in when you get ready to go inside. RMJ has always managed to hide a big SLR in the bottom of that bag. I don't get along with that guy, but he usually manages to get some great pictures of Alizée.

Jenny too has taken some great videos in the past. If she can get the time off, I will give her a ticket to either show. Better yet, I will give her both tickets I have to the floor, because I think she can tolerate a long wait better than I can. In fact me and other members will come up with a way to pay for her transportation to and from there if she could get the time off, but unfortunately, I think that's her biggest obstacle. The main purpose of all this is to get video of Alizée.

If she can't go, maybe she find out for me if the German member I met up with plans on going. I bought 2 tickets for each show. I owe a lot to him and I'd give him the extra tickets I have, if he can make it.

Again the main thing is will Alizée be there and will she be in all the shows. My main objective here is to have someone who will film Alizée and Alizée alone and I will do what ever it takes to have that happen.

Thanks again Ray for that info, that saved me a lot of research.

http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/...pspmmushat.jpg

Here's a video I put together quickly of several of Alizee's past appearances and this is why this is so important to me.

No, she didn't. It's still more likely that she will be there instead of the DALS tour. Let's hope she will. A friend of mine bought a ticket and it will probably be her only chance to see Alizée on stage - so for her sake I'm praying that Alizée will attend.

Thanks, that's a kind offer Scruffy, but as I mentioned I won't be able to go on holiday. I started a new job last week and I don't even know if I'll be able to go on holiday during the next 6 months. The money for the transportation etc. is not the problem, it's simply about the lack of days off.

You're talking about Bernd (AlizéeFee), right? He won't go. To be honest I don't even know if any of the usual suspects from the German fans will be going at all.

I think the reason they decided to sell specific seats is to make the entry process orderly and faster, and also to prevent people from having to assemble outside for hours.

As far as bringing in cameras, etc... I expect the screening will be more comprehensive these days than it had been in the past. Here is a PDF of the venue's generic rules. (French only) http://www.accorhotelsarena.com/site..._2015_vdef.pdf

And I have yet to see anything to make me think Alizée will or will not be there. I saw one 'fan community' make a post or two as if it was fact, but since it offered no source or way to confirm anything, to me it's just an attention-seeking rumor.

EDIT-

Scruffydog777 12-09-2015 12:33 AM

A 25 liter bag looks to be the size of a good sized backpack.

I wish they'd come out with the schedule for the DALS tour, because if there's enough open dates during Les Enfoires, I think that would increase her chances dramatically of participating.

Unfortunately I have the feeling she'll prefer to go with the tour, even if it's just to play a small part as in the opening ceremony as long as she has "something" and so she can be with Greg. I don't think she will try her best, not to leave him alone in another city, where there will be plenty of single good looking female dancers, not to mention fans around.

I think I would finally lose interest in her because there's a good chance the same will happen next year and with rumors of an album not coming out until 2017, Disney is not enough to keep me interested; not even in her.

EDIT: I just did a quick drive by of DIGITiCK and it looks like tickets are still available. That was unheard of in years past. It's been said this show has the ratings of our Superbowl. As bad as what happened was, you know security at this event will be incredibly tight. Still, Parisians are spooked and you can't blame them. Look what happened here after 9/11.

Scruffydog777 12-11-2015 12:22 PM

Well one step forward and one huge step back as far as my chances of going to this show. It looks like I will be able to change my vacation so I will be able to go to either show I have tickets for.

The big step back is my company merged with another airline and policies concerning my rotator cuff surgery recovery have changed. I see my doctor next week. I've used up my allotted light duty time. So if she says I'm not okay for full duty, I will go back out on the street (collecting of course), but unable to fly on company benefits. Full duty involves being able to lift 70 pounds and I am no wheres near that. Will I be there in a month from now? At the rate things have been progressing, I seriously doubt it, but I'll keep planning on it, till I find out otherwise or if I hear Alizée wont be in the show.

Rev 12-12-2015 03:33 AM

Hope for the best. :)

The tour schedule has been out for two months or so. You are in luck, it will be at the Bercy in Paris for 4 shows at the same time Les Enfoirés is going on.

http://www.cheyenne-prod.com/artiste...760.html#hautd

Assuming (which I don't) that Alizée will be a part of the tour, you can't miss catching her at one show or the other. (I don't feel that she will be at either event.)

We know Grégoire said he would be at all the DALS tour shows with the group routines.

Regardless, I hope your recovery progresses well and that you are able to get the travel plans to fit together.

Scruffydog777 12-12-2015 09:19 AM

Thanks for posting that info Ray. The worst case scenario I thought there might be would be Les Enfoires being in Paris and DALS tour being in other cities, but now it's great they will both be in Paris during the same week.

It's good too that there are 2 Les Enfoires shows (20 & 21) before the first tour show on the 22nd. Those first couple of shows are where they are learning the routines, so if she's there for those first 2, it will be much easier to take a couple of shows off and not miss a beat when she comes back rather than miss those initial shows and try and come in later when everyone else knows the routines..There is also no tour show on the last day of LE (25th).

The bad news is there are two tour shows on the 23rd and if she does participate in some way in the tour shows, that will rule out her being in LE on the 23rd, but also the night before because of those 2 tour shows the next day.

Another bad point is I thought she'd love to be in LE again to see all her old friends, but even if she doesn't participate in LE, she will probably get to see them anyways where they are all in Paris.

So I think it sounds very doable for her to participate in both. Will she? We all think of her a caring person who has done several things for charity. Will she go the extra mile to participate in both and help in LE's efforts to feed the homeless?................Film at 11.

Scruffydog777 12-16-2015 04:35 PM

My situation is still in limbo. I saw my doctor yesterday and she gave me 2 more months of light duty, but after that what surprised me was the company gave me 4 more weeks of transitional duty (that's where you can still work while you're recovering) and supposedly after the 4 weeks, I'd go back out on the street (but collecting) where I couldn't fly. Now that 4 weeks, leaves me 1 week shy of my vacation during that LE week. If I could get my transitional duty to last one more week, hopefully making it to vacation would seal the deal for me going.

Now I know Paybays said he would like being considered for my tickets if I can't make it. I do have two tickets for each show and nobody I know has expressed an interest in going, so I could go ahead and send him one of those tickets so he can start making some concrete plans, if he let's me know which one of those 2 shows he might try to make it to, but I believe he said he'd be going with somebody else and if that's the case, he'll have to wait until my situation clears up.

Of course the most important thing is I believe there still has been no official word from Alizée if she will be in any of the shows.

I read on the Les Enfoires site "the list of artists participating in the Enfoirés 2016 will not be published before the concerts.". Why in the world would this be? Is it for security reasons? I'm sure a lot of people go to see their favorite artists. It doesn't make sense.

Well it's been announced Alizée will participate in the DALS tour show in Belgium on February 4th. I wonder why this show and not the others. Maybe one of the other female dancers taking part in the tour could not make this particular event, or maybe they just decided to add one or two more dancers. Either way I think that does not bode well for her participating in Les Enfoires and that would be a huge loss. With the tour, the best we could hope for is her dancing with a group of other dancers or maybe just short segments of her and Gregoire dancing. I think that's almost meaningless to a lot of her fans.

Where in Belgium is it? If it's Bruxelles I can go there and see her

It will be at the Forest National arena on the south side of Brussels on the 4th of February .

One of her 6 "wins" for DALS La tournée 2015 was in Belgium. They must like her. Perhaps this is why. :)

Somewhere I'd heard when they didn't announce the participants a year or two ago for a previous Les Enfoirés show that it was because they wanted the show to be about the cause rather than the participants. Since they sell out each night I guess they can get away with that.

Unrelated to Alizée being there or not, earlier this year, not long after the 2015 show was over, there were articles that JJG was going to 'turn the show over to the younger crowd' and perhaps not participate, or participate less. It will be interesting to see if this happens this year and what changes they make.
