But actually, she couldn't have worn contacts in her early career since they just didn't seem to be available back then. Conctacts are still only used by 2% of the world population and most of them are in the US. I think that Alizee probably doesn't need glasses or anything because it probably isn't that bad of vision. Anyone know her vision?!

It seems like pretty much everyone uses contacts nowadays.

It seems that people's vision is getting worse and worse so almost everyone is wearing either glasses or contacts...

Contacts have been around since the late 1800s. Though the more recent comfortable ones came to be around the late 1980s/1990s.

Well, a lot of people wear glasses/contacts for aesthetic reasons, not because they have poor eyesight.

I like the glasses on her too :) And personally, I feel I'm lucky NOT to be in the number that even needs contacts or glasses :p
Contacts have been around for a while, if you didn't notice, MJ wears them in the Thriller video when he's morphing into the Werewolf and at the end :D He also wore them in his 40min long video, Ghosts. :)

Ok well maybe the reason I don't think she would have had contacts is cause I have bad eyesight and so I can't even use the disposable kind. I have to get annual contacts that I can wear for a year and each contact is $200.
