I want to hear this song sung by Alizée

I'd really like Alizée to do a cover of this song...

Do it with Jeremy if you have to...;):D No seriously, this song is so beautiful, great atmosphere. Can you believe people got so worked up about this at the time it was released?

Funny how that video was banned when it first was released.
However, if Alizée were in it I think it should be banned. Damn just think about it, would have the same effect as the video in The Ring.
Well maybe not the 'turning into a plastic barbara doll' part :p

I actually liked this song. Kind of a Jazz*/Rock fusion sound. As you know I am not a heavy metal fan. Also Alizee could probably do this song justice.:)

Be more specific, you just can't call anything metal anymore. :p
Opeth is progressive metal, and yes, this is leagues away to what they normally do, you'd be surprised at the genre. :)

You might even like Nightwish and Dream Theater, and they're labeled metal. :)

As much as I love both Alizée and Opeth myself, I don't think Alizée singing one of their songs would really work. Her style just dosen't fit their songs at all. Maybe getting her to sing backup on a slower Opeth song would work, but nothing further. It's kinda like the saying goes, I might love both chocolate and steak, but don't want them on the same plate.

I'm sure your right. I listen mainly to classic rock and hear anything new by accident. it is hard to hear any new rock music without the rap crap being injected @ every turn or including it in their rock songs. Rap is to music as the etch a sketch is to art! I don't have an ipod and I refuse to pay a monthly fee for Serius or the like. My old FM rock station of 30 + yrs. has been hijacked by afore mentioned crap. I will seek out an Opeth cd soon and report back what I think. Now back on track. I would like to see Alizee sing anything by Sade. Her songs were very romantic and fits Alizee's style very well. She was very popular back in the 80's. Many of you probably haven't even heard of her. She is very beautiful also and if they had internet back in the day I probably would have been on a Sade fan website. Check her out on youtube.:)

I know Sade, "Smooth Operator", "Jezebel", I loved her jazz/fusion style and that lovely deep voice. She's brilliant. I'm a music fanatic, I listen to everything except Rap really, rap doesn't click with me, something about speaking too much in a song you sound weird...

I'm sure you're a Yes fan, they're one of my favorite prog rock bands back in the day, you can definitely hear them in Dream Theater.

And this is Nightwish, beautiful symphonic on a beautiful female vocalist.
