:eek::eek::eek::eek: Gasp! I love the accent  It definitely helps the song in my opinion. Probably why i prefer it to when she sang it on that tv show. Lovely performance, no doubt, but her remake of it for Mex. Ed. of Psych has more of her accent and... *shudders in a good way*

It'll probably have sugar instead of the corn sweetner we use!

 that's right!! I used to live in latin america, and when I moved here, the coke tasted nasty until I got used to it and liked it. I always wondered what the difference was. I guess it was the sugar then. Thanks for crackin' the case wildfire! :)

I probably like her first version of La Isla Bonita a bit more simply because it's been around longer and I'm more accustomed to it, sort of like an old friend. However, my guess is she tried to reduce her accent in order to sound more like Madonna, since that was the theme of the show she performed it on. Sort of like she does here too.

Her new version is just Alizée singing the song as herself. That's why I also like the new version. It's the real Alizée, along with her very real and delightful accent.:)

Someday I would love to visit Corsica. Jo Jacotey's photos really make it look like a magical place.

oh don't get me wrong, she can talk to me about various diseases in her accent and I'd still be

like Lefty said... I'm used to and love the original version.
