This is unfortunate, but if you read into it, it seems like the guy was easily duped. It said the scammers told him Alizee's "late father owned mines in Africa, with a legacy of 4.4 million euros, and that she needs him to repatriate the money. ".
Anyone who follows her closely knows her father is alive and well and he posts pictures on a regular basis and his well being can be fairly easily looked into.
Then it said " He also sent money to IBANs in Lithuania and Morocco.". Sending money to two different countries should have been a tip off.
Years ago, i got a message from Africa saying my nephew was there on vacation, he had been robbed and was put in jail because he didn't have the money to pay his hotel bill and I needed to send money right away to a certain address. Well it just so happened my nephew was on vacation at the time (not in Africa) and nobody knew where he was , but I didn't believe it and of course it wasn't true. It shows these scammers do their homework. So like I said, it seems this guy was easily duped but who knows what he was told.
Either way, this in no way this is Alizee's fault and I'm surprised she put out a message but I guess it again shows what type of person she is that she did.
