Mylene Farmer- Bleu Noir
 

So I was curious if there were any Mylene fans here. Personally, I love the woman. But, I really wanted to talk specifically about her new album Bleu Noir.

The first thing that is significant about this album is the absence of Laurent Boutonnat. Instead, all songs were written by Mylene Farmer, Moby, RedOne and Archive. The first single to be release from this album was "Oui Mais...Non". The single was released to digital downloading markets on 11 October and hit No.1 on the French Digital Chart. One week before the release of the album, the physical CD of "Oui Mais...Non" was released and Mylene gained her 10th No.1 single in the French Single Chart, breaking her own record. The album entered the French Album Chart at No.1 and the global chart at No.14. Current sales, including digital are around 355,000.

I love this album. It's upbeat, its a totally different style from her usual music, andddd its still got that Mylene "twist" on it being slightly melancholic.
