Yesss!

This past July I spent a month in Paris with Oxbridge Academic Programs, and, on the last day of class, my teacher was going through his iTunes, picking and choosing random songs.

Just as I'm about to poke fun at him for his musical tastes, there unfolds the melody of Moi... Lolita! I was astonished, considering practically all of the music prior to this was American, and commented on how the song was one of my favorites. He replied that I shouldn't tell that to anyone in France (). :p

And then, quite naturally, after Alizée came Mylène (!) with Désenchantée, which he proclaimed to be "real French music," or something similar.

Once, the JPVA remix by Benny Benassi was played at my school, as part of some fashion event. I felt really wierd listening to Alizée in the school, where everyone else was listening too.

Does being freaked out by a cop lip singing to moi lolita count. Because thats waht happened when he pulled up to me and i didnt notice, had my music blasting and when I saw them it was to late. But he was lip singing moi lolita and laughing with his partner. That freaked the living crap out of me.

hmm.. i smell a bit of riftyness between Alziee and Mylene..

He probably just dislikes Alizee for his own reasons, and that's totally understandable. Although technically, old Alizee was simply a way for Mylene to relive her creativities through a younger vessel.

In other words to live vicariously and financially through Alizee as some parents seem to do with their children. Alizee is now the prodigal daughter.
