Favorite "En Concert" (2004) Performance?
 

I was wondering what's everyone's favorite performance during En concert?

Mine is "Gourmandises" simply because I love the way she comes out on stage and I just love that song xD

I also enjoyed "Moi...Lolita" and "Toc De Mac" a lot :P

I'm not a guitarist, but there's no denying the moment where she plays with the guitar at the end of 'Moi...Lolita' is +3d6 to Awesome. I also dig her interaction with the audience, the way she flirts with her guitarists, and the look on her face she struts across the stage from one to the other.

Damn you :p! The moment I saw the title of this thread, I pictured in my mind when she walks out on the stage in "Gourmandises" with her hips and elbows swinging to the infectious beat :wub:. My favorite singing performance has to be one of the slower songs ("Amélie m'a dit", "Tempête," or "Parler tout bas") because her voice flows like mercury and is pretty much flawless.

As for overall performance, it's hard to argue against "Toc de mac," with the "WOW!," the goddess-like spin, and the sick guitar solo near the end. In fact, when I first got "En Concert" I watched Toc de mac four times in a row before finishing the disc :D .

Honestly, picking the best En Concert performance is like picking your favorite star in the sky: each is so unique, and each blinds you with its energy and beauty.

Mine changes from time to time, but right now I am stuck on Toc de Mac, especially love the WOW at the start like mavsluver said.

In second though I really enjoy Moi... Lolita and C'est Trop Tard. I could argue about things I like in each song I guess, but thats not what you are asking. :p

Why is there no "The Whole Damn Thing" option? Asking me to pick a favorite part of it is like asking me to pull out my own heart to show you my favorite blood vessel...

I'm with you, there is not one favorite but several favorites in my book. :wub:
