I'm not sure if this qualifies for what you are looking for, but after several weeks of hemming and hawing about what frame and matting to use on the portrait I had done in Hawaii, I finally took it to someone who knows what they are doing and I just picked it up yesterday.

This is done very nicely. Did you hang up the potrait in the livingroom above a fireplace? Looks like a house from early 20 century?

Yes the picture is in the living room and above a fireplace. The house was built in 1929.
