Greyhound Murder
On a Greyhound bus in Manitoba, Canada, one man stabbed a stranger repeatedly before beheading him with a large hunting knife. It was a sudden, random, and very, very disturbing attack.

I heard about this yesterday evening, I believe. It must have been a nightmare for those people on the bus.

Goodness. I can only imagine the nightmares those children who saw this are going to have. Trains in general kind of creep me out, I always imagine some killer hiding on one, probably since so many movies have been made about situations similar to this one.

Terrible, terrible... :(
The world is full of kooks. |
So the killer didn't know his victim beforehand?
|
No, there was no connection between the attacker and victim.
According to a leaked RCMP transmission during the standoff, he was eating parts of the victim too. http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/08/02/....ap/index.html |

Ugh.. Perhaps that man has a little man-crush on cannibalistic murderers. Sickens me |
I guess Greyhound will start having the TSA working all their routes

i read about this...
"he stabbed the victim at least 50-60 (no pun intended) times" so, besides ushering everybody off the bus, he didnt try to stop the guy as he was stabbing him? anybody try to stop him all? personally, in the heat of an adrenaline rush, i probably would of beat the shit out of the guy and would of stopped the attack. from what i read, the victim was still alive when the attacker began beheading him. so, he could still be alive if someone had stopped him? i dont know all the particulars of the story because i wasnt there obviously, but if i see someone stabbing someone 50 or 60 times, i know i would at least try to stop him. my condolenses to the friends and family of the victim, a really gruesome story i must say. |
