How is your school?

I guess most of members of AAm are students, either in high school or college.

So how is your school?

Fun, boring, love it, hate it?

I wub mine. High school was no fantastic thing, but college is great.

It's a little over a half-hour commute, which hits the wallet hard, but the time itself flies fast enough. I go to a satellite campus which has only 40 students total. My program has 13 students in the class with one teacher all day, every day and very few days off. We've got a lab for instruction, one for networking, and the back part of the classroom has a mysterious pickup truck canopy. It's pretty laid back- a few microwaves, a fridge, and we watch movies during the lunch break (those I brought received the most attention- KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park and Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter). There is also a student lounge made out of a portable classroom and a couple used couches. It has a Wii and rock band that some other students brought, but I never go in it.

The program I'm in rocks, too. Last year's graduates had a 100% employment rate in the field with high wages and it's wonderfully fun to do.

What is home schooled anyway? I have a few friends who claimed that they're home schooled too, but actually all they ever do is just sit at home and have fun. And here I thought home schooled is where you got a private tutor or teacher to teach you at home. Correct me if I'm wrong, I really don't know much about it.

And now about my school(university actually), the campus sucks and I can't wait to leave this place for good. Its always packed everywhere, very hot and their service is the worst. I have to wait for 3 weeks just to pay my fees, and usually half and hour in the queue to buy food. No wait, thats not the worst part, the worst is, the tuition fee is very expensive and I paid with my own working money for it! The place is not worth the price. Now the best I can do is to study hard, so that part of myself can consider it as "worth it".

well my home schooling is done on a computer. its just like regular school. you have teachers that send the work to you over the computer and you do it and send it in. regular school is like 8 hours long. but home schooling is as long as you make it. as soon as your done with your work you can go on with your every day life.

School sucks. It prevented me from seeing Lili's autograph signing in Paris.

I go to a public high school, but will be off to college after this summer. I like my high school a lot though. Even if the food sucks and we don't have the latest technology we have some great people there. I have liked most my teachers as a friend and have meet a lot of good friends at the school. I hate doing school work and don't always feel like getting up to go to school, but I have fun regardless of the work and I think I am really going to miss it.

Oh, mines nice.

Real great community and teachers - that MAKES any high school.
Even tho I'm not a big fan of school in general :\

Just wish people knew about Alizee in my high school! Some times I wonder if there is anyone in my school who knows about her. Odds are I'm the only one.

I discovered Alizee manly because I love languages. I speak Italian fluently and I'm a native English speaker and I'm trying to learn french (and speak a wee bit spanish). Basically, I'm open to MANY international things so once I found out about Alizee I embraced it. lol

I mean, we have a couple of language buffs at my school, if I had to name all I know I could only come up with 4 not including myself all four of which are taking like 3 different languages in one year lol. But none of them know alizee. Booh.
