Alizée: the beginning of the end?

The dispatch has just come from Star News:

"The small protected Mylène Farmer does not know the success of its predecessor. The
Sales of tickets for his concert at the Grand Rex on October 23 is too
bad, it was forced to cancel ... [...] The young singer would
not only changed the date for material reasons: rumors
say that on October 23 in the evening would be a discount price
Mexico, a country where it cartonne.

Alizée would therefore be a stone, two birds: a few months to
grapiller few spectators for his concert and a first-class travel
to a place where it is truly a star.

It's good to choose. "

By making false leap to the few French fans that still remain, perhaps
Does trying to get rid of it permanently?

It is not wrong, to live in Mexico ... And you think that you

Just thought it was cool, because we were doing stock market things in French class earlier, and boom, she was front page :D

Ugh. I see that the blog postings--and user comments--on Yahoo! France are just as incoherent and mean-spirited as those one finds on the US version... truly an international community of yahoos, I guess.

Welcome to the forum, YAR, make yourself at home. Its a travesty that someone as supremely gifted and wonderful as Alizée should make headlines only in such unfavorable, depressing, and generally unpleasant terms: yet scandal is precisely what causes these "rabid yahoos" to salivate. Ah well, it's negative publicity, but publicity all the same.

Thanks for the welcome; I wish I'd discovered her (and thus this site) at a slightly happier time for you all. It's a bit of a downer to see everyone so upset; I'm still in the "newfound love" stage, all puppy-dogs and sunny days and am thus more interested in talking about her like a lovesick schoolboy smitten with her beguiling charms, than armchair-quarterbacking her apparent missteps :) Ah well, maybe after things calm down.

Thanks again for the welcome.

At least you weren't me when I found out Alizée was married to Jérémy Chatelain 5 years ago. :p
I think that's when I started making piano ballads and death metal songs on a daily basis. Hehe.

Emotional turmoil. Never revered amongst the community of a bright star, the comet shall turn, will we follow it? I shall, I shall follow the flying wind to the end of time, I shall face towards the sea, I shall await the arrow she well let loose upon us, that will strike us all with fervor and awe.

I am with her, in heart and in mind, I am beside her, in soul and passion.

Here's a better translation (LOL at the computerized version):

Alizée: The beginning of the end?

The little protegée of Mylène Farmer doesn't know the success of her elder. The sales of tickets for her concert at the Grand Rex on October 23 being too poor, she was obliged to cancel . . . the young singer did not change the date for material reasons alone: rumor has it that the 23rd of October will equally be the evening when a prize will be given out in Mexico, a country where she scores.

Alizée would thus kill two birds with one stone: having several additional months to glean spectators for her concert, and a first-class trip to a place where she is really a star.

In making false promises to the few French fans she still has, perhaps she is trying to rid herself of them permanently?

It's not a mistake, to live the good life in Mexico . . . and you, what do you think of this "strategy" of the future ex-idol of youth?

I don't know. I guess one can say that the negative press may be what is needed to get her name back out into the main stream of France? We'll see with time...
