Sous la présidence exceptionnelle de Claude Lelouch et avec Marianne James dans le rôle de Madame Loyal, plus de 30 artistes se succèderont en proposant des numéros spectaculaires alliant humour, tendresse et talent pour redonner le sourire à leurs pairs dans le besoin. Au cours de ce spectacle de cirque unique, domptage, numéros de clown, tours de magie, chansons ou encore acrobaties aériennes seront exécutés par les plus grands artistes du cinéma, du théâtre, de la télévision et des variétés. Cette année encore, l’intégralité des sommes récoltées sera gérée par l’Union Sociale du Spectacle, une institution du Groupe Audiens, pour aider les artistes en difficulté.

La représentation fera l’objet d’une captation audiovisuelle.

Under the outstanding presidency of Claude Lelouch and Marianne James in the role of Madame Loyal, more than 30 artists will follow one another in offering spectacular numbers combining humor, tenderness and talent to bring smiles to their peers in need. During this unique circus show, taming, clowning, magic tricks, songs or aerial acrobatics will be performed by leading artists of film, theater, television and varieties. This year, all the money raised will be managed by the Social Union of the Spectacle, an institution of Audiens Group to help struggling artists.

The representation will be an audiovisual capture.

Is it possible those are stuffed animals? The one on the left looks like something dragged out of your grandmother's attic. The one on the right appears to be affixed to a base. I've seen too many videos on You Tube of people being maimed by supposedly trained cats. I'd hate to see anything nasty happen to that body of Alizee's. Even with trained cats, going into their cage is not a good idea.

The cat is thinking "Do I really have to obey her. She is hardly more than a snack!" :)

Luckily, that cage is not thought of as theirs. They have not had time to claim it as home, and I expect the trainer is smart enough to establish dominance in that cage from moment one.

It's like I've said so many times before. She is an incredibly quick study. She looks like she's been doing this for years and so at home with this, yet these are man eaters.

I got one question though......did they smooch????

International pop star, dance champion, TV actress, prize winning chef, lion tamer, and high wire performer: What an incredible life this lady has lived! I'm afraid to ask, what's next? I wonder if this is the big surprise her father mentioned a month or two ago, or are we in for something even more spectacular. I can't imagine anything that could beat lion taming.

Tout au long du Gala, les artistes enchaînent les numéros avec un tel brio que l'on pourrait croire qu'ils sont nés dans un cirque ! Et c'est l'occasion pour eux de montrer une autre facette de leur talent... Alors que Sabrina Ouazani se glisse dans la peau d'une époustouflante équilibriste (sans filet!), Bruno Putzulu et Philippe Bas incarnent deux générations du célèbre James Bond dans un duel aérien, avec, comme fond sonore, deux thèmes musicaux ultracultes dont celui d'Adèle.

Mais le spectacle ne s'arrête pas là car, côté coulisses, les artistes sont également en grande forme et n'hésitent pas à confronter leurs univers cinématographiques. Ainsi, Chantal Ladesou, déguisée en cowgirl, affronte le duo de 007, et Michaël Gregorio, grimé en Charlot, se retrouve face à un Martin Lamotte tout juste sorti de son numéro inspiré de The Artist !

Une soirée exceptionnelle où chacun a donné de son temps au profit d'une noble cause : le Gala de l'Union des Artistes reverse intégralement ses recettes aux artistes en difficulté.

They reveal dazzling, funny and spectacular numbers under the sparkling of Marianne James, a charmer and charming eye Madam unfair.

Under the marquee of the Cirque d'hiver, the twirling Marianne James welcomes all the personalities that participated in the game of the circus. It is clear that the exercise is not simple, and yet, all the artists have evolved with ease in their respective numbers. Days of hard work were necessary to provide a spectacle in color and strong feelings for the thousands of spectators, large and small, who have had the chance to attend the 53rd Gala of the Union.

The theme of this year being the cinema, numbers illustrate movies cults accompanied their respective soundtracks. Thus, tribute to Claude Lelouch, the president of the Gala, 2016, the frail Alizée, accompanied by Grégoire Lyonnet, illustrates his mastery and his self-control in a number stunning dressage of felines, whose sound universe refers to the itinerary of a spoiled child film, with Jean-Paul Belmondo (who signed then returning to cinema) and Richard Anconina.

All along of the Gala, artists follow the numbers with such brio that might believe that they were born in a circus! And it's an opportunity for them to show another facet of their talent... While Sabrina Ouazani slips into the skin of a breathtaking balancing act (no net!), Bruno Putzulu and Philippe bottom represent two generations of the famous James Bond in an air duel, with, as background music, two themes music ultracultes which one of Adele.

But the show does not stop there, because behind the scenes, the artists are also in great shape and did not hesitate to confront their cinematographic universe. Thus, Chantal Ladesou, dressed as a cowgirl, confronts the duo of 007, and Michaël Gregorio, dressed in Charlot, is confronted by a Martin Lamotte just out number inspired by The Artist!

An exceptional evening where everyone gave his time for the benefit of a noble cause: the Gala of the Union of artists in full reverse its revenue to the struggling artists.

Cage dorée et prince acrobate

Dans cet extrait, que Purepeople est fier de vous présenter en exclusivité, Alizée entre dans la cage aux fauves. Entourée de plusieurs tigres, dont deux magnifiques tigres blancs, la chanteuse révèle ses talents de dresseuse. Concentrée et d'un calme olympien, Alizée fait évoluer les fauves autour d'elle avant que son compagnon ne vienne la libérer de cette cage dorée en descendant doucement du ciel. Les deux amoureux échangent alors un baiser qui rappelle celui, mythique, de Kirsten Dunst et Tobey Maguire dans le premier Spider-Man de Sam Raimi en 2002. Ce numéro, présenté avec brio par l'interprète de Blonde et le danseur de Danse avec les stars (partenaire de Camille Lou dans la septième saison du programme, actuellement diffusée par TF1), est un des grands moments de ce 53e Gala de l'Union des artistes.

Pour interpréter le rôle central de monsieur Loyal, c'est la pétillante Marianne James qui a été choisie. En queue-de-pie et petit chapeau coquet, la comédienne à la voix de cantatrice hilarante dirige ce très beau spectacle imaginé par le réalisateur attendu avec Chacun sa vie (au casting quatre étoiles, en salles prochainement). Habitué des films choraux, Lelouch était un choix évident pour la mise en scène du show qui réunit des personnalités aussi différentes que le danseur Brahim Zaibat, l'animatrice Ophélie Meunier et les acteurs Bruno Putzulu et Philippe Bas, impressionnants en acrobates en smoking.

Un casting à la Lelouch

Sous le chapiteau, vous découvrirez Sheila en lanceuse de couteaux dans un numéro inspiré par les films de sabre chinois à la Tigre et Dragon, Virginie Hocq et Maxime Dereymez (toujours en lice dans Danse avec les stars au côté de la superbe et très douée Caroline Receveur) feront se rencontrer danse et humour tandis que l'imitateur Michaël Gregorio vous fera revivre la poésie du Charlot de Chaplin. De magie, il sera question avec un numéro de lévitation orchestrée par Dani Lary avec l'aide de l'actrice Vanessa Guide (Les nouvelles aventures d'Aladin), de Baptiste Giabiconi et d'Anggun. Entourée des mousquetaires Olivier Dion, David Ban et Damien Sargue, Chantal Ladesou présentera un numéro de dressage de chevaux dans une ambiance de saloon. Artus et la troupe Adama s'inviteront dans l'univers de Rabbi Jacob tandis qu'Alex Lutz dévoilera ses talents de cavalier. Les acteurs Laurent Gamelon et Adeline Blondieau feront équipe à l'instar de Patrick Poivre d'Arvor et de l'humoriste Caroline Vigneaux tandis que Tina Arena et Laurent Petitguillaume vous réservent quelques surprises. Enfin, après avoir croisé le fer avec Sheila, la superbe Isabelle Vitari, qui interprète Karine dans Nos chers voisins, prendra son envol dans un numéro d'acrobatie au ruban... Sublime.

Ce très beau 53e Gala permettra donc de venir une nouvelle fois en aide aux artistes dans le besoin, une mission qui touche particulièrement la présidente de l'Union, la comédienne Arlette Téphany, qui est apparue très émue sur la piste du Cirque d'hiver Bouglione au côté de Marianne James. Une séquence qui ne manquera pas de toucher les téléspectateurs de France 2. Rendez-vous mardi à 20h55.

The first time I saw this photo, I was amazed at Gregorie's strength. The more I studied the photo, the more I thought, his hold on Alizee was physically impossible and extremely dangerous. If you study the photo that Scuffydog posted above, it's more apparent that Gregorie can't be supporting her weight. Finally I saw a video of the lift and discovered that Alizee slipped her right hand into a strap that bears most of her weight--a little circus trick. You can't see the strap in this photo because it's on the other side of Gregorie's body. The video is posted someplace on Alizee America, but I haven't been able to find it.

I'm led to believe that she just takes any opportunity she still has to appear on TV in one way or another, it's pretty much the only thing that brings bread to the table at this point for her family.

I'm guessing it's only gonna get crazier before her swan song...
