He, she (or it) posted nothing new. About the "being fan" situation we are talking most always in chatbox. Most fans of her as singer lost their last hopes for return to singing, most after some interviews wher she called herself to be more dancer than singer, and that what she has done (6 albums) is enough for her. And of course, most fans are bored from dancing, dont find it interesting. And of course the thing with cancelled Blonde tour costed Alizee really much - her fans... simply after all the years, they (we) are tired from waiting for nothing.

Scruffydog777 02-21-2016 08:00 PM

I have to say with few exceptions, we get week after week the same thing with the tour. The only thing that varies is sometimes we get a better camera shot. Even with the song Fame, it's a song that's really out of her range. Maybe if she had worked on her voice more over the years, such wouldn't be the case.

I see more and more fans of the singer, fading away, and if she's gaining dancing fans, where are they?

But the main thing is she is happy with what she's doing. In fact, I think she is incredibly happy right now. She never wanted to be a Madonna or a Mylene Farmer. Corsica and family were the main things that mattered to her and she has that now.

I think it's going to be a very good year for 'her', but I think she'll lose a lot of fans. Though her fans helped her get through a difficult phase of her life, I think Mylene Farmer taught her that fans are a commodity and not something to be held closely. She values family first, Corsica a close second and fans, a very distant third.

Edit:

I was also kind of surprised to see this view and the number of views. So where are these views coming from?

http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/...psblbb97iz.jpg

Scruffydog777 02-22-2016 01:37 PM

Answering my own question, thousands of people go to each of these shows depending on the venue size. Now maybe not all these views are Alizée fans or maybe they are or maybe they are fans of Greg? I'm guessing that though we're seeing a drop off in forum and FB fans for her, she still has a lot of fans out there, but the following numbers should tell us something.

Scruffydog777 02-22-2016 06:38 PM

I often have spoken of Chez Paulo in this thread. That's his Facebook name which is the name of his restaurant in Ajaccio. I think the name means house of Paulo. He's very active in FB. Here's an old picture I came across of Alizée (I'm 99% sure it's her) in front of his restaurant. I think the guy with him was either a friend or maybe one of the workers there. Not being sure, I blocked his face out.

That's funny. It would have been nice if the picture wasn't so bright. I'd post the whole picture if I could get his approval.

Scruffydog777 02-24-2016 08:31 PM

Looks like Ske Leton got a couple of autographs at tonights show in Nice. He'll probably be posting some more pictures and videos tomorrow or maybe even later tonight. There's some info on this guy in his FB profile. He lives down the coast away from Nice, about halfway between Marseille and Nice. He attended college in Paris. He speaks 4 different languages. Not much else except it looks like he apparently discovered Alizée ' la chanteuse' in 2013.

EDIT: I sent Ske Leton a short message and he said he didn't know her before 2013 and said it was the first time in his life he cared to follow a celebrity.

Virginie Nini also posted the bottom picture. What a great smile on Alizée's face! Nini is from Toulouse.

Shepherd 02-24-2016 10:37 PM

Ske Leton said it was the first time in his life he cared to follow a celebrity.

I find this an interesting comment because I too have never cared to follow a celebrity before Alizee although I have enjoyed many artists before her. It mystifies me as to what it is about Alizee that is so irresistible. She is beautiful, but certainly not the most beautiful pop star. I enjoy her music, but I enjoy the music of many stars. Even so, I have never taken an interest in the private life of any other artist. I think it has something to do with the fact that she is an introvert and so am I, but I don't think that is nearly enough to explain the phenomenon. I have a sense that she is approachable while knowing Alizee is not at all approachable. Certainly she is approachable to her family and a few close friends, but she is not comfortable with strangers, and I think she has not worked the international market, especially Mexico, as ardently as she might have because she is not comfortable outside of France. So what is her magic? I don't know.

Scruffydog777 02-24-2016 11:18 PM

I too have never sought a celebrity's autograph until Alizée came along, even in a city that has had a lot of sports heroes and I've been a big sports fan all my life. Bobby Orr, Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Pedro Martinez, Tom Brady.....been to many of their games, but never cared about an autograph.

As far as Alizée, I think the term "je ne sais quoi" never had a more applicable meaning.

Scruffydog777 02-25-2016 02:08 PM

Ske Leton posted some great pictures today and he says he is uploading more to Youtube. I'm still not sure of the etiquette or protocol of posting other people's pictures or videos on AlizéeAmerica's FB page. For instance with Ske Leton, I find I'm able to post most of his pictures, but I found others were not allowed to be posted for whatever reason. So I asked him today if it was okay to repost his material, of course giving him credit. He said okay and I said I didn't even have to mention his name.

I think he's relatively new to all this, so I warned him there are people who will take his pictures and videos and put their own signature on it, making it look like they were the owners.

I also saw in here some discussion of the benefits of Facebook. I usually prefer this forum for discussion because in FB, a topic will quickly fade out of view. But with hopes of a new album fading fast or are they gone for good and things slowing down in the forum, FB offers an interesting addition to the following of Alizee's career and life. Plus with so much going on for Alizée now, we get to see a lot more pictures which are a lot easier to post on FB.

It was interesting to find out about AIFC, which seems to be by far the most active Alizée Facebook page and that's because, even though they are based in France, most of their fans are from Mexico.

It was very interesting to have a brief exchange of messages with Jo Jacotey himself over some pictures he posted. He added me as a friend and because of that, when ever he posts a picture and he posts a lot, they post on my page so I don't even have to go searching for them.

Chatting with Ske Leton who was at the carnival and the tournee show in Nice last night was interesting. I hope to get more details from him when things calm down for him.

Chez Paulo, who owns that restaurant (I'm not sure if it's still a pizzeria too) in Ajaccio because of my donation to the Mary Do charity, added me as a friend. He is very active on FB in political and cultural ways and again, anything he posts, shows up on my FB page.

Earlier last year, when it was at a relatively slow time for Alizée, it seemed like all the Alizée FB pages were pretty much the same thing. They'd post the a number of pictures and videos from the past and usually with the same small group of people posting all the time. The only good it seemed to do is keep the fans from Mexico and some of her die hard fans interested. AIFC used to post about 20 different pictures or videos a day and they were getting good results, but I don't think it was from young French fans or at least enough to make a diffrence which is what she needs.

I saw not many posts were being made in our FB page, so I started making 3 or 4 posts a day. I use material from all eras even if it was an era I wasn't that crazy about. I'm afraid if I use more, I might run out of material and when I can, I add new stuff, such as videos from SAGA or even a little clip I showed recently of an apparent screw up in a Les Enfoires show I was at, drew a surprising amount of interest.

My main hope is to keep up interest, just in case she comes to her senses and realizes the world desperately needs another album from her.

My time off from work, which will continue till April has allowed me to discover more about FB and the people who are a part of it. It's an interesting site. It has it's plusses and it's minuses, but I think it can be a great tool when properly used by the forum.

Scruffydog777 02-26-2016 01:56 PM

Ske Leton among his many posts, posted this short video. It's probably in Ray's list, but this one needs to be singled out. It's short and I did a rough translation of what the lines said, though one, I'm not sure of. The video wasn't copiabled per normal means, though I copied it for myself, but I'm not going to post the video in a means other than the way he provided.

According to the subtitles, he says to her "You know I also have a great voice.", The woman behind says to him, "You want to sing it seems." and puts a microphone to his mouth.. Then he says something like , " Uh maybe not." and then he says "No, no, not tonight.". EDIT: Lucas later informed me that this is something Ske Leton made up as to what was said.

I love the look on Alizée's face at the :04 mark, when she's looking at him, then looks forward. It's one of those classic Alizée looks. I think it would make a great GIF.

https://twitter.com/Ske_Leton/status/703268934066245633

Here is also a great GIF I guess it is of her playing a video game. I was able to copy this video too.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BCQG4OANoSm/

Lucas 02-26-2016 02:59 PM

Do you know they are not really saying what the subtitles are showing? I think its again one of funny posts by Ske. He made several funny vids and pics.

Scruffydog777 02-26-2016 03:16 PM

I was wondering how he was able to tell that. I'm not that familiar with him to know he might be like that, but it did look like what he "supposed" such might be the case, but I'll remember in the future that the subtitles he posts may not be the actual ones. Thanks for that info.

Here's another video just posted by him. One thing I don't like about most of the videos coming out of the tournee is they are shot by fans and it's easy to tell that. In this one, it's very good quality, almost tv quality at that. Being center stage helped a lot. But when Alizée comes on stage, he tends to zoom in too much imo. I've found that you have to do a combination of both. Sometimes it works out that you zoom in and out at exactly the right moments and sometimes exactly the wrong moments. I think Greg with his dance moves made for a great Harry Potter.

Thanks again for that info!

Chez Paulo posted a link for an apartment (condo???) that's on sale for just under 600,000 euros. Such a steal!

Scruffydog777 02-29-2016 07:39 PM

There's a Mylene Farmer FB page maybe run by a fan club???? But they posted a video today I guess of one of her early performances which took place in august of 1984; the year Alizée was born. I also found out this was the year her music career started.

I went to Chez Paulo's FB page too and went through a bunch of his pictures. They offer an interesting look into life in Ajaccio from someone who lived fairly close to where Alizée grew up. I also saw a few pictures of Alizée I hadn't seen before. I hope he keeps his pictures up, I'll probably copy them at some point. Unfortunately Jo Jacotey takes his down not long after he posts them.

https://www.facebook.com/mylenefarme...?tab=page_info

Scruffydog777 03-04-2016 01:07 PM

I had mentioned before that Jo Jacotey often posts beautiful pictures of Corsica, but when you hit the share button, it says this isn't sharable. I'd like to post some of his pictures on our Facebook page, so I sent him a message and he said all his pictures are sharable, but he only posts one a day and soon takes it down. He takes many pictures of beautiful women too, but that's not what I'm interested in; at least for our FB page.

Edit:

Steffan Bossow who is a Facebook member from Germany said Jo told him that he will be doing a photo shoot of Alizée and Gregoire soon. That should make for some great pictures.

There's some type of road rallye going on in Corsica on the days 4,5 &6 of this month.

Jo Jacotey has been posting some pictures of the cars around town as they practice I guess and this time it's not Playstation.

He takes remarkably good photos of Alizée. A full photoshoot ... wow! :)

Chez Paulo of FB posted a video about skiing in the commune of Asco in northern Corsica. This is a small ski area much of which was wiped out by an avalanche back in the early 90s.

Doing a little research on that led me to an article about 7 motorcycles that were apparently set on fire next to an apartment building. It's hard to translate this exactly "Des tags à caractère insultant ont aussi été retrouvés à proximité." but it looks like someone wrote some insulting comments probably about the motorcycles, on a wall maybe, nearby.

Ske Leton reposted a video on Twitter of Alizée and Claire Keim singing 'Rolling in the Deep' a few years ago in Les Enfoires which I reposted on our Facebook page. I posted a video I made at one of those shows. It's one I don't think I posted before and though I think at the time the other video was a much better video, the one I posted seems to be doing better because people want something new or if not new, at least something they haven't seen before. That's why of late, I've been looking for unposted videos and also small moments from old videos that had something amusing or interesting about them to try and keep this ship afloat.

Looks like AIFC has definitely taken a more racy turn since the announcement that Alizée had no plans in the near future for a new album whether it was related to that or not. I mentioned before they posted a couple of pictures of women (not Alizée) tied up and that seems to be a regular occurrence now. Also a combination of pictures of Alizée was posted today with the typical revealing pictures of her in the JPVA dress. I know I've said before that they have different values over there (though this latest picture was posted by an American), but that really has nothing to do with the fact that you'd think they wouldn't want to post pictures that are embarrassing to Alizée and maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think she'd want that type of picture posted the way these people do.

Scruffydog777 03-14-2016 01:51 PM

Jo Jacotey posted a great picture of the Blood Islands today. He's also been taking a lot of pictures of beautiful women. It seems more so than he usually does, but I could be wrong about that. I don't know if these are professional models or not. He's even taken some in what looks to be the Paris Metro.

Dave, Lucas, Ray, et. al.,
Thanks for the massive update. I have not been near a computer where I can just hop on and get to this site. It's been very frustrating for me. :(

Working days and nights, with little sleep.

My best regards to you all here.

Chez Paulo posted this picture saying his restaurant would open at noon this Friday on le jour de la Madonnucia and here's a paragraph describing that holiday.
Ajaccio is poised once again to celebrate with fervor his holy patron Madonnuccia A, Our Lady of Mercy. The celebrations begin tonight (Wednesday) at 6:01 p.m. with Mass followed at 20 h45 the salvation of the Blessed Sacrament to the cathedral and the tribute made to Our Lady of Mercy on the Place des Palmiers. Tomorrow (Thursday), Mass in the cathedral from 8:00 and then also post-12:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by the traditional procession. This tradition is still very respected by Ajacciens that take over the years to honor the one who saved the city from the plague. Today what modern pest and how to protect themselves, this will be the theme of the message of the Bishop on this special day. Listen Mgr Brunin

This message was posted by Ghislain Rossi of Alizée AIFC (Facebook). Apparently AIFC will not follow Alizée any more as a group, but Fany will still have an Alizée page. This I would think is a big loss for Alizée. It was by far the most active FB page, with mostly fans from Mexico. They had numerous posts everyday. Fany, a beautiful young lady who helps run this site has told me with what she said was inside info that Alizée would start on a new album this year. Then when Alizée announced she had no plans on the horizon for a new album, it just seemed to take all the wind out of AIFC's sails. Now they are planning on following Mylene Farmer and a beautiful actress who's name escapes me at the moment.

I'm still gathering info on this and reading comments and hopefully will have an update later.

"BYE BYE ALIZEE
Ghislain Rossi·Thursday, March 17, 2016
.450 friends were removed this morning: and there remain still about 400 about it to remove: there should thus me remain 500 about it (personal friends, members of my family, fans of mylene Farmer and Ysa Ferrer.). As I told it yesterday to you: I do not want to continue any more to follow dancer Alizée. For me, she was a singer. This one belongs henceforth to the past. Group AIFC will be thus dissolved. On the other hand, my wife Fany will continue to maintain page AIFC. Please don't make confusion between me and Fany Lerremme. we have each another way of thinking.

To make a summary of the situation: some artists change and some fans too: Fany has decided to continue for ALIZEE but in a page, and no more in a group. I’m going to remove all the administrators of the AIFC group (it’s not a personal decision against you). I will invite to join Fany and few others on AIFC page (and so, there won’t be new publications in the old group neither new members; I will give you the link to follow AIFC page, if you haven’t yet liked: www.facebook.com/aifclili

Understand well: I’m not a new hater of Alizée. I’m just fed up with her dancing activities, her TV réality shows, her Grégoire , her art to buzz, her selfies, her choices not to go to “LES ENFOIRES” for a third Dals Tour. I respect her choices but it’s not an obligation for me to follow her. If Fany is agree with Alizée’s career, I respect too.

To conclude, the concept of group is old and not adapted to present. And we have lost important admins: Christel Min, Alex Friedrich, Christine Paridans and now Carol Provenza. So, my preoccupations will go now only to the artist never deceiving me (Mylène FARMER) and an actress (Virginie EFIRA). Good Luck Fany pour AIFC page"

Scruffydog777 03-18-2016 08:23 PM

There were a couple of pictures posted by Jo Jacotey. One the usual beautiful picture of Corsica (I assume it's Corsica). The second one I have no idea what it is. It has some lettering on it.... like HDMI and Dolby. Maybe it has something to do with an electronic component he bought.

I also chatted with Ghislain Rossi of AIFC. He told me he has thyroid cancer and I'm sure that had an influence on his decision to drop a lot of their coverage of Alizée.

Scruffydog777 03-21-2016 02:08 PM

Stefan Bessow who's from Germany asked me to be an admin in AIFC. I think what's happening is I had reported how Ghislain Rossi was doing away with the group and Fany was just keeping open the page. I think what's happening now is they are now trying to save the group too, by coming up with a group of admins to run it. Stefan speaks German as well as English, Fany speaks French and they added 2 guys who speak Spanish.
Robert Rhein for those who know him was kicked out because he was upset with Ghislain for what he was doing. Ghislain just seemed to lose interest after the announcement of no new album, plus he has thyroid cancer.

I told Stefan that I should tell him about my past before he considers me, but he's seen what I've done with our Facebook page and that was enough for him, besides most of the controversy takes place in the forum.

I checked to see if it was okay with Merci Alizee and he said yes.

I didn't want to accept it. Now while I'm still out of work, I have plenty of time for this, but next month when I return, I think it will be tougher to do what I'd like to do.
I suggested to Steffan that we come up with some policies on how the place is run. I see on just about every Alizee facebook page except AlizeeAmerica those pictures posted of Alizee in the JPVA dress. To not allow them I think wont be approved. There's also picture of Annily which I seee posted too. So I'll discuss that with Stefan. I think the best I can do is to just maintaining the usual standards in AA's Facebook page.

If it proves too much work for me, I'll drop it. My main loyalty will always be with Alizee America.

This may have already paid dividends for AA FB as far as viewership. Usually the best a post does on our page is a couple of hundred views in a few weeks. I just posted a short one from LE yesterday, and it's already had 2,500 people reached and 450 views. Our FB page is the only place I posted it.

So if anyone has suggestions or comments, pro or con, please mention them. If you don't say anything, then I don't want to hear any complaints later.

Mademoisellejulie magazine article

Here's magazine article that was posted in FB today by a woman from Toulous.

http://www.madmoisellejulie.fr/le-jo...viewer-alizee/

Here's a Bing translation;

It was a bit a dream of kid of ado. Thanks to my job, I have the chance to get a few small kiffs like to interview Alizée. I had already tried Hélène Rollès, without much success. But thanks to its future participation in Superkids on M6, I could ask some questions to the small brunette Corsica. Impressions.

At Alizee, I love the freshness of me... lolita and his tone serious and suave at once. Unlike most, it is his album a child of the century, composed in part by Chateau Marmont or Para One, french talents of the electro scene, which got the hardest. Like the wind that bears his name, Alizée inspires me the lightness, simplicity, this facility to sail registry in registry without ever belong to none. And from the first words of our interview, I realized that my first impressions on his subject were good. Alizée is talkative, but still asked, she speaks with a strong accent, it feels especially passionate.

April 6, Alizée will participate again in a radio. But unlike seeds of star, who launched his career in 2000, and dancing with the stars, which allowed him to meet love (Grégoire Lyonnet), and also to reconnect with his passion for dance, for the first time, it is as a member of the jury that the young woman will officiate in Superkids.

© Aurélien FAIDY / M6

In an interview, there again, we feel its amazing humility: "I felt more legitimate judging from children, because myself it is a radio which opened the doors of success." Because it is also alien to the circus or the magic universe that are part of the Superkids numbers, Alizée preferred to focus on the emotion and feel and has avoided relying solely on the technique of the candidates: "I tried first and foremost to be affected, that they take us into their own universe."

Humble, Alizée is undoubtedly. Most importantly, despite the setbacks and more than ten years of career, Alizée is a bosseuse. Those who think that it owes its success to boost by Mylène Farmer in its infancy are wrong. Even today, if it were to give one advice to young foals, it would be to work, and work hard: "there is that it is paying. Need to make the right choices, remain master of its way and listen to his heart. »

Now more serene, less shy, Alizée has decided to devote himself fully to the dance: "I do what I want at the moment. The meetings and the course of things have naturally referred me to the dance, so for now, I am my instinct without asking me questions. I do not say goodbye to the music so far, but at the moment my priority is not there. For the rest, we'll see. "In this

framework, it connects the benefits with Grégoire Lyonnet, everywhere in France, before turning the best pastry chef special people, which will be broadcast by this summer on M6. Before returning to his beloved Island, Corsica, although vacation earned in July/August. Because ultimately, it is still and always there the wind (ra) leads.

Scruffydog777 03-22-2016 07:37 PM

I chatted with Steffan Bossow in Facebook tonight. He was the one who invited me to be an admin of AIFC. I guess he too had just been invited to be an admin there.

I discussed with him my concerns with the revealing pictures and also pictures of Annily and he agreed with me. So I will send a message to the higher ups there tomorrow to see what their thoughts are.

A few months ago when I saw little was being with our FB page, I started posting to it on a regular basis. Then I learned about the other Alizée FB pages. There were many accusations going back and forth between those pages. But except for name calling, I never really heard anything of substance.

Well tonight I also heard quite a bit from another FB page member and it was quite a revelation. It seems there is trouble in the FB world and it involves AIFC. As I said, Ghislain says he has thyroid cancer, plus he doesn't have much interest anymore in the dancing Alizée so I'm guessing there will be some new leadership there. I've mentioned before AIFC seems to have the biggest following I believe. So if there are things amiss there, we (me and Stefan who I discussed this with) will try and get to the bottom of it and straighten it out, to save these fans for Alizée.

Scruffydog777 03-25-2016 08:49 PM

Came across this fan video someone had posted on Facebook. It was published back in 2014. Maybe others have seen it, but I haven't. I think it's an awesome video. One of the best fan videos I've seen in a while. I've even stayed in the Hotel Fesch that's pictured in the video.

Nice, positive coverage.

I am really glad to see that France is FINALLY getting behind her - even if she had to change profession a couple of times in order to shift their perspective. :) :) :)

She needs to make this transition in order to truly have a new rebirth. After she has, options will really open up for her again. :)

Came across this fan video someone had posted on Facebook. It was published back in 2014. Maybe others have seen it, but I haven't. I think it's an awesome video. One of the best fan videos I've seen in a while. I've even stayed in the Hotel Fesch that's pictured in the video.

That's a great video, albeit somewhat sad. Definitely the best fan video I've seen.

Jo Jacotey shared a playlist that included a certain someone!

This is what the article said, in case it disappears....

"Happy Easter to you all! religious holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Easter has become a family tradition, especially the appointment of the greediest. Chocolate, sweets, candy of all colors ... All follies are allowed, since it is the Easter Bunny in person regia. The favorite pastime of children? The egg hunt course! A tradition that falls back to ancient times and has crossed the times, the egg symbolized in popular belief the origin of the world and fertility.

Rather than rush to unceremoniously on chocolate délicieuseries offered by your loved ones, and to undermine your liver, we propose to wait with a small selection of music, ideal to whet your mouth. Remember! Years before "La Femme chocolat" Olivia Ruiz, it already existed Annie Cordy and his famous "Cho Ka Ka O". While Sabine Paturel was making "Nonsense," Alizee it, proposed its "delicacies". As for Boris Vian, it was more expeditious. His message for Easter Monday? "Go t'faire cook an egg man!"

Alizée had tweeted today that there is "work in progress" and " surprise". A couple of weeks ago her dad had mentioned there would be a photo shoot for Alizée and Gregoire after the Tour was done. I wonder if this might be the surprise?

Edit:

Alizée Updates says that what ever is going on with regard to this tweet, is happening in London. Let the speculation begin!

She's running for parliament; She has an uncontrollable lust for fish and chips; Annily wanted a ride on the London Eye; Gregorie wanted to see London Bridge falling down; She wanted to visit a friend locked in the tower.
