Did we know about this?
And if so, why didn't we hammer the organizers to get Alizee in the mix?

Well it sure is a great shame not knowing this event would occur; it could of been a great step if Alizée would of participated. But also we could plan it out for next year:); the new album will be out already and this could be her first chance introducing herself to America. And we could "hammer" those organizers until they agree to have Alizée :p

Don't think we can hammer anyone in there if that someone didn't contact the organization themselves.
Maybe we could hammer a letter through the fences of Fort Alizée so that she/they atleast knows about it and might consider it. |
has anyone given the thought that maybe she does not want to come to america? :(

(its an interesting thread, everybody should read it if they havent already and post any suggestions they have :)) |
I just found out about this the other day because AlizéeNation tweeted about it. This is the kind of thing it would be nice to see Alizée get involved in. A nice way to test the waters, so to speak.
I also find in encouraging that we are seeing more things "French" in a positive light here in the USA now. @Karlalizee, Alizée seemed rather daunted by the idea of entering the USA market in the past. I can only guess (and hope) that if the demand was here she would respond to it. But I don't think we will see her come to the USA to try to create the demand herself. I think this is true for any country, not just the USA. |
California yet again.
If any state to promote foreign artists, California's a definite target. ;) |
