[2011-12-TBA] Tahiti Boy & Palmtree Family X-Mas Song feat. Alizée
 

MOD EDIT: Alizée has confirmed via her Facebook that she will be participating in this year's Tahiti Boy and the Palmtree Family Christmas Song.

Recently there has been a post on the Facebook Wall of Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family that suggests a 2011 Christmas Song is in the works. Whether or not it will have Alizée in it has yet to be confirmed...

Whether or not the next one has Alizée in it, I hope they will make it sound more jolly... this one makes me feel like I'm at a funeral. No offense... just making an honest observation.

This almost marks the 1-year anniversary of her new hairstyle :D

And man her voice is AMAZING in It's XMAS Tonight!

I wish she'd do some covers of the "generic" Christmas songs. (I don't quite mean Frosty the Snowman..)

She should do "Baby its cold outside" with Alain Chamfort or something...

Alizee posted the link on her fb page. I guess this confirms her participation again this year.
PS: Tahiti Boys were asking for suggestions. May be Lefty, C-4 and our other good friends here could help them. :2_thumbs:

They're still working on the video. I read somewhere that it'll be released either next week or the week after that.

Heard it... I liked Alizée a lot... that's about it. but I really appreciate the effort they put into the song.

I liked Alizée's voice in this recording. It shows that particular tonal quality of hers that I like and is distinctly "Alizée".

These Christmas songs are not really designed to be great, unforgettable hits. They are simply to have some fun and celebrate the holiday season. And as a gift to the fans, I think they accomplished that. :)

I agree. And remember, they're not even selling this just like the previous ones. It is indeed a gift from them for all us fans.

The song was good, I liked it. I just think the random rap verses in the middle did not fit with the rest of the song.

Just try the 'process of elimination." Google-image the guys/group's names. It might take a little time - unless Bigdan or some other guys from France can help us out. BTW, that's how I did it when I tried to figure out the name of a singer in last year's x-mas song.

Oxmo was the guy in Décollage, and he's also in this song as Fish pointed out.

I'm assuming these are in order of appearance, since I believe the rapper after Oxmo is Mike Ladd, an MC from Boston. The group with the Jeremy look-alike are the Naive New Beaters (almost strike me as a French LMFAO).

I like the voice of that woman who sings right before Alizée, who is she?
