Wow she sounds so beautiful. She should make an album singing in Corsican. Like Nolwenn did when she recorded "Bretonne". I doubt Alizée could sell even less copies of a Corsican album than she sold of "Blonde" so why not trying it?

Still don't understand why she wasn't invited to sing some song for the album in Corsican language

Here's a video I put together recently with a huge amount of help from Ray. It's where she's singing Versu té, again with Nathalie Lanfranchi. I included both the French and Corsican lyrics and they seem to be far different, so I doubt if anyone on the mainland would understand it which I think would be a serious handicap for an album or even a song in Corsican. How did Nolwenn's album "Bretonne" do?

Which album do you mean? Did I miss something? I only remember that Jennifer wanted to do an album in Corsican years ago but that never happened. Did someone else did another album and I missed it? Or do you mean that she should have put some Corsican songs on her own album? Sorry, I'm confused. :)

It sold over a million copies in France.

I'll have to check that album out. She has an incredible voice, but when I've looked briefly at her music before, I was a lot less impressed than I was by the songs she sang in Les Enfoires. Of course part of that is due to the fact they use mostly the top songs.

I did really enjoy her song, La jument de Michao, both her version, but especially the one in L.E.

The album is out for a while now, l can't access any more info right now but if I recall Jenifer is on it. I never updated that thread since it wasn't relevant.
