That's some pretty interesting stuff. Five different countries; Malta, Ile de Megere (Portugal), Naples (Italy), Montenegro and Crete (Greece). I wonder how large the venues are? These aren't cheap tickets. I wonder how many they expect to sell in France? I would think there would be a lot of local appeal in those countries if they do their advertising right.

Initially I thought the price shown was the cost of tickets to the show, but that appeared insanely expensive. For the show in Crete, for instance, the listed price is 1,180 € which comes to $1,334.05. As much as I love Alizee, I can't see paying that much, plus airfare, hotel, and meals. Then I saw formule: toute compre = all included. I'm not clear as to what that means. Additionally we see "Depart Lyon" and "Transport Avion." So, I am guessing that "all included" means airfare, hotel, and show. If that's what it means, the price is not outrageous. I looked up the regular charges and came up with the following cost for one person. Airfare from Lyons + return 435€ $491.79 Hotel 7 days 549€ $620.67 Ticket 7 shows 28€ / $31.66 per show 196€ $221.59 Total 1,180€ $1,334.05 Now it's looking better, but $31.66 per show looks awfully inexpensive, but $221.59 for one show, a bit pricey. I'm expecting one of you to set me straight. |
I didn't realize it the first time I read this but it looks like Alizée and Gregoire will be in each of these locations for a week. What a life! I think they'll be putting on a show and giving lessons too.
These seem like pretty good deals, but I think they are based on double occupancy and if someone wanted to go by themselves with this offer, I think they'd be charged almost double what the offer shows. It looked like it said all inclusive which means all your meals are paid for if you eat at that resort. If that's the case, it certainly isn't a bad deal, if you're travelling with someone else. |

I think there is supposed to be a show, maybe including the tourists also? Not sure who the audience will be though. I think some of the adult students in these photos may be employees of the tour agency and/or of the resort. And I wonder where all the kids came from. Are they the kids of resort employees?
I'll also speculate that many were skeptical that this whole vacation package thing wasn't even legit. I know I was. So maybe now that it's been shown that it's real, and that it looks like the participants get really good access to A&G, more people will book the future packages. |
If there is a show, it will be really interesting to see how that goes. Before finding out about Alizée, I used to go to different resorts in the Caribbean and one of the big differences between resorts and how much tourists enjoyed their time there was the type of show they put on at night. A really good show, can earn them good reviews and the potential payoff of that is big.
It is kind of interesting to see the class with the adults and then the kids. Did they offer different classes on different days or different times of day? I find it kind of hard to believe these kids might be kids of the resort employees. They look too into it, but then again, many kids would be. Hopefully we'll hear some reports from these families in social media somewhere. |
