gTranslate
For those of you using Firefox, there is a nice Translator extension that uses the Google Translator engine. Highlight your text, choose the default language (only has to be done once) if the text is within 25 characters or so the auto translation will appear in your drop menu when you right click on what you have highlighted and you can read it right there. If there is more text extending beyond the context menu you can continue to click and it will open a new tab with your text translated automatically in Google.

Note: there are a few more translator extensions but this one seems to be the most reliable and fuss free.

Good too. The slang section is funny (quite poor though). The introduction in that slang section ("Foreign speakers") should reply to someone here who wanted to first learn the slang in French (was it Matrix?) :D. More or less the same advice I gave him...

The interface can be set to French or English, but since it was designed by the University of Alberta to help their students who are learning French it only shows you your mistakes and suggests a correction, but you have to correct them all yourself. It is hoped that by making you do the corrections you will learn more, and so far it has been working for me.
