à quoi rêve une jeune fille

i'm sure you all are familiar with this song but I had to share this experience with you. I was sitting in the park the other day, listening to the line "quand le soir s'assombrit" while the sun was actually going down, and that was just such a touching experience... I don't have the vocabulary to describe it :o and the sky was all red/yellow, and the temperature was low... and then she sang "d'un fleuve aux cent couleurs, un tableau"... just so incredibly touching.

Those moments are awesome, when your just walking along or sitting listening to music and letting your mind wander the music seems to change the way you see everything. Like you look out the window of a subway as you pass the city while the sun is setting and the music your listening too makes the scene so much clamer and lighter than the dull noisy day it actually may be. And then it works the other way too and makes the song so much for meaningful.

its funny i can listen to her music anytime, any of her songs, anytime.. except for the mon maquis . :)

it doesnt get boring like the hop hop / rap / pop american based songs

Maybe its because i dont fully understand her songs thats why it sounds new everytime i listen to them

Alizee's music has all kinds of moods. Oh yes, her voice is the icing on the cake too...good stress relief.

I love that song also, helps me fall to sleep. Perfect place on the CD to put that song as I wonder off into slumber land.

Amelie, do you hear some music by "Noir Désir" in Lithuania btw?
You probably know why I ask that, or tell me if you don't...

I agree, her music is timeless and it never gets old. A day doesn't go by where I'm not listening to her music.
